The Upper House

I just want to give my gratitude to Upperhouse during my long stay in November, 2025. Thank you for my making my stay so peaceful and comfortable. The only hotel I would stay at in Hing Kong and I am a local living in Hong Kong. This young energetic and polite respectful vibe all comes together perfectly that makes Upperhouse THE hotel in Hong Kong for every personality and culture. Thank you to all the staffs that makes it happen, the interns are very professional, all valet parking staffs and all receptionist are very friendly and knowledgeable at their profession adding a human touch and the reason I choose Upperhouse only. I love the lawn to chill at whether I’m not in the room and decided to just chill at the hotel, staffs at the coffee bakery station on the second floor you can find all gluten free bakeries and detox juices. The room is always clean and spacious, very comfortable bed and the biggest bathroom with spacious powder room and huge closet space and separate toilet, there is filter water in the room ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Upperhouse goes into every smallest details and every visit there is always change for the good for us guests. Thank you to all housekeepers. Back office managements for creating the best team at Upperhouse. Thank you Salisterra staffs from reception to service staffs and mixologists and chefs for preparing dinner and detox smoothies for me every day and the best service and best smiles when they bring me food. The cuisine is so delicious and not to forget room service, the warm welcome voice who pick up room service calls. Thank you to all Upperhouse staffs during my stay. A home for those away from home. Very convenient location at admiralty to travel around Hong Kong and there is boham road near by a hiking route to the nature in the city. And Pacific Place the only Mall I go to with everything you need to get and best best spacious and clean mall in Hong Kong. I grew up together with Pacific place.

Upper House is my favourite hotel in HK. I’m admittedly a regular and have stayed countless times over the past several years; it’s a second home to me. Our most recent stay was two nights at one of the harbour view Suites for my wedding. Staff were extremely accommodating – helping us out extensively with the various luggage and bits we had to carry, working with our production and photography crew members on the morning of our wedding when we held our traditional Chinese tea ceremony, providing us with a Chinese tea set, and generally being very attentive. Rooms are, as always, very clean, tidy and meticulously looked after. The warm interior colour tones and soft, minimalist decor with nicely-proportioned furniture all come together to curate a genuinely welcoming, home-away-from-home experience. Plenty of amenities, snacks and drinks – all of an extremely high standard. Bedding is plush and very comfortable to sink into. There aren’t too many facilities (e.g. swimming pool) but then again, I wasn’t looking to use one. There’s a decent gym that is usually not too occupied. Food is another highlight; we returned from our wedding banquet having not eaten very much, and the late night menu gave us a good spread of selections to pick from. A quick call to the room service team and food was promptly served to our suite in under 30 minutes. Breakfast (and in particular, the Japanese and Chinese breakfast sets) is one of the parts of the House which I always look forward to whenever I stay; the quality of the food and the generous portions all speak for themselves! Last but not least I’d like to thank one of the guest experience managers, Edward Tang, who has never failed to do his best to personally look after me, as well as my friends and family who visit the House, every time I visit. A 10 out of 10 hotel in my mind, with a fantastic team taking care of guests!

The best hotel experience in my life, bar none. Every aspect of the experience is exceptionally well conceived and you are treated with personal care and attention from the first minute you step inside to the last time you leave. The views are magnificent and our stay in the room, including the in-room massage, dining, and amenities went above and beyond my expectations. I will remember this trip, this stay, for the rest of my life. Thank you Upper House team for making it so special!

The Upper House should come with a health warning: it is essentially impossible to stay anywhere else directly afterwards! Andre Fu's elegantly designed rooms and suites have stood the test of time extremely well and the expertise, solicitude and charm of the wonderful guest experience team remains at an astonishingly high level. Nothing whatsoever is too much trouble and you truly feel as welcome as an old friend of the family. Within the rooms, every detail has been extremely carefully considered and every possible need superbly accomodated for. Housekeeping is immaculate and a steady stream of thoughtful extras made every day a real treat. Swire Hotels continues to set the hospitality standard in this part of the world and that the Upper House remains a firm fixture among the very best hotels in the world is testament to the ingenuity, diligence and scrupulous attention to detail of an extremely professional team. Bravo! Very highly recommended.
