Booked the 3-bedroom, Grand Ocean suite for a family of 6 adults and 1 child in May 2024. The experience from start to finish was amazing. First, when we arrived at the Ground level with our rental car, we were greeted by several employees - valet and Ground level front desk. Every person received a welcoming lei. The Ground level staff were very welcoming and comprehensive in explaining the layout of the hotel. Bellman received our suitcases and brought them straight to our suite - we had 11 large suitcases and 5 small suitcases. Check-in on Lobby level was seamless. Our suite was on the 31st floor with amazing ocean views; kitchen stocked every day with Nespresso pods, large refrigerator and dishwasher; suite with its own small washer and dryer (really helped on our 7 day stay). The sofa bed was already prepared, full-size - I slept in it all week and was comfortable. Per my family, beds in each of the 3 bedrooms were comfortable too. All toilets came with seat bidet unit - love those! Housekeeping was thorough every day and thoughtful - replenishing all that is needed. When we call for extra needed items, like towels, it was delivered within 10 minutes. Every morning prior to leaving the room, we would call the valet for the car, which would be waiting for us by the time we reached the Ground level. Valet is $50/day but well worth it based on the location and the service provided and especially if traveling in large group. At the Ground level, they can provide beach towels if you need for beach days. Adult pool with two jacuzzis was gorgeous with great views. At the pool there are towels provided. Our family went to the jacuzzi quite a bit! There is a separate children's pool with slides. Check-out was seamless, and bellmen were able to take all our suitcases down to the Ground level. We were all very sad to leave. Highly recommend this establishment, customer service and organization top tier!

The staff here are the most friendly, nicest and helpful individuals I have met in our entire 4 weeks of travel in the USA. Everyone greets you with a wonderful greeting and smile. The hotel is quite modern & has two towers. It’s set back a couple of blocks from the beach but still very close to all of the local shops and restaurants. Max 10 minutes walk to the beach. The room includes a kitchenette and a laundry washer and dryer. OMG after 3 weeks of travelling I can’t tell you how good it was to was clothes in a washing machine. The hotel is modern, clean and has an amazing housekeeping service that we affectionately called our cleaning fairy’s. They were so good I wish I could take them home with me. Whilst I think the services provided at this hotel are great, I do need to clarify that the bedding situation isn’t ideal. Ok so let me explain. We initially booked a room for 3 adults, 1 king bed and a sofa bed but upon checking in we discovered that the sofa bed was uncomfortable with a super thin mattress, where we could feel the metal bars. (Probably fine for a child but not an adult). We addressed the issue with the reception and ended up upgrading at our cost to a 1 bedroom suite which they assured us was better for a family if 3 adults. So we paid without inspecting the room. Yes the room is bigger and much better BUT be warned the the two double beds are actually two king single beds. You cannot comfortably fit two adult westerners in the bed. So for us we still had to use the sofa bed. Whilst I wasn’t happy with the bedding arrangements on the upgraded room I lost the energy to complain a second time. My poor husband ended up on the sofa bed and my daughter and I had a king single each. Ritz Carlton if you are listening, king single beds are not acceptable, you really need to change the beds to be queen beds for the amount we are paying. There is heaps of available room, so room space isn’t an issue. In summary it is a lovely hotel but the cost is excessive and the bedding is not acceptable. I would not stay here again unless they fixed the bedding to be more suitable for western visitors.

What a delightful hotel. We had four lovely nights over two stays at this hotel and found nothing was left out. Rooms are lovely, clean and well appointed, staff in all areas pleasant, helpful and welcoming and location very convenient. On a personal note we visited on a family trip and our granddaughter had a 7th birthday and they made such a fuss - balloons, cookies and a card signed by all staff. What a thoughtful thing to do and we were most grateful.

Long overdue review of the Ritz Waikiki, but just wanted to recognize them as one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. I’ve had the pleasure of staying here multiple times with my first stay being in 2021. During that year, Sumin was the guest relations agent that reached out to me before I checked in, and she did an incredible job of making sure my room was set up to my liking. I book through AMEX FHR and I am upgraded to the suite version of whichever category room I originally book. The only time I’ve been slightly disappointed with the upgrade was my most recent stay at the start of this year. I booked a grand room and was expecting the same upgrade to the grand suite ewa tower like I had received the year before, but this time I was upgraded to a suite with a very odd layout. It was in the diamond head tower overlooking the kids pool that was under construction, and did not have a full lanai. In addition, there was no king bed, it was two tiny twin beds in the bedroom. :( Also, no one reached out to me before my stay I had to email them myself. Debbie (the front desk manager) helped out with setting up a welcome amenity as I was celebrating my mom’s birthday. The service provided was great, but did not meet my high expectations as my first stay here set the standards pretty high. It also seemed that they were training a lot of new staff so service was not as seamless as before. Nonetheless, I will continue to stay at the Ritz as I live in the area, I just hope they work out some of their shortcomings and take note of guests who have stayed multiple times throughout the years.

Our stay at the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Honolulu was impeccable with unparalleled service. The staff made an effort to get to know each guest. The room was gorgeous and comfortable. The pool was exceptional, with the afternoon ice cream at 2pm was wonderful. Overall an exquisite stay.
