Quiet and Comfort in Waikiki
Nice hotel with comfortable and clean rooms. Location is ideal, leads right into shops and restaurants on Lewers St and is a short walk to all major Waikiki spots. The main attraction here is the sound-proof windows that keep out the extremely loud noises you will hear at neighboring, high-end hotels. We slept very well and enjoyed having a spacious room with a good view. The staff here go above and beyond to make you comfortable.

I've never seen a hotel as perfect as Halepuna. Staff, atmosphere, cleanliness, modernity, luxury and service are all perfect. I stayed at Honeymoon and it was perfect. There's a reason why the ratings are high.

Exquisite Hospitality and Breathtaking Views
Our stay at Halepuna Waikiki was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt at ease throughout our stay. The 18th-floor ocean view from our room was breathtaking, and the room itself was spacious, beautifully furnished, impeccably clean, and very quiet. Even as a family traveling with a young child, we were able to fully enjoy the serene, refined atmosphere of the hotel. The hospitality and attention to detail far exceeded our expectations. We look forward to returning on our next trip to Hawaii.

Not such a luxury experience
Front desk staff is very unfriendly and unaccommodating. None of our requests were honoured. Food in the restaurant is awful, don't waste your money. Restaurant is dark in the evening and you're facing a street view. They only operate from Wed - sun. No music or ambiance. Eat somewhere else and you will enjoy it more. Rooms are clean but don't settle for corner rooms by the pool side even from the higher floors. The noise from adjacent Sheraton hotel is unbearable from the loading zone and other operational side of the hotel. You won't be able to sit and enjoy your lanai. If you want luxury experience, stay in Halekulani which is the original property or Alohilani Resort. Outrigger Reef is beautiful as well and food and drinks are exceptional.

Luxury in the heart of Waikiki's upscale shopping district
The location of Halepuna puts you in the heart of Waikiki's high end shopping and dining. The rooms are very well appointed with modern decor. I recommend upgrading to Deluxe Ocean View Rooms for the best views from your private balcony. The service was exceptional and the hotel and room was spotless.
