Calm Oasis in the heart of Waikiki
Loved our stay at the Halepuna Waikiki. Tucked behind the Halekulani, the hotel is beautiful, quiet and very centrally located. The staff took great care of us and were friendly and professional. There is a great little beach nearby (walk through the Outrigger Reef Hotel) where you can rent chairs and umbrellas and pop into The Monkey Pod Restaurant for a Mai Tai and lunch. We had dinner at the Halekulani - "House without a Key" and listened to live music which was lovely. The Halepuna has a pool on the 8th floor which is nice but on windy days does not allow for umbrellas. One amenity that would have made our experience better would have been to also have access to the Halekulani Hotel pool / beach.

Wonderful Staff
Every one from the hotel staff we encountered were extremely nice and helpful. The bellmen and room cleaning staff were especially so. The hotel was very clean, quiet and peaceful. Gym and swim areas were nice as well. Nice bakery located on the property.

Very well located. Waikīkī beach in front, good restaurants a shops. Excellent team, very supportive and helpful either the front desk/check-in but also the valet team. Happy to return and recommend to stay.

Will Be Back
Small boutique hotel [compared to the mega resorts in the area] with employees that were professional yet friendly and helpful. It is tucked in between the Sheraton and their sister resort HaleKulani on a side street. Easy to get to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Rooms are small but very nicely decorated with comfortable beds. Mountain view and City view rooms have balconies that are standing room only. If booking one of these rooms, request a high floor, or otherwise you could be looking at the Sheraton's parking structure instead of over it. There are no 'resort fee' charges, it's already rolled in to the price, so no surprise charges. Water bottles with refill stations were a nice touch. Pool was on the smaller side small but big enough to swim around, nice view out to the ocean.
