Our trip to the Halepuna was just as amazing as we could have imagined it—and we imagined it being amazing! Some quick points: - While it's not on the beach, it's so close—do not worry about this! - The service and staff is top-notch, truly! - There are plenty of amenities to make your trip great. Take advantage of the ocean-view infinity pool, the cabanas that only cost a $75 F+B minimum(!), the beach towels in beach bag from the Bell Desk, umbrellas (though hopefully you won't need them), and more! - The room keys are wooden and encouraged to be kept as a souvenir! - The price CANNOT be beat for this level of quality, service, location, and city. - The room, itself, was outstanding. The bathroom and bedding were great. And the layout of the room was particularly notable, with plenty of seating and tables but never feeling crowded or cramped. All in all, I would definitely stay at the Halepuna again! The only other places I would ever consider would be a place further from the beach if I needed cheaper, one of the historical Marriotts if I didn't care about a lower quality for a more expensive price, or the Halekulani if I really wanted to splurge. ...So, stay at the Halepuna!

This is the second time I have used it. The room is beautiful and it's my favorite hotel, but the taste of the UMI restaurant on the first floor, which was impressively delicious last time, is lost. The coffee is cold, and the food is ready.

Good location at Waikiki, nice facilities and friendly staff. It was a shame that I couldn’t enjoy all the benefits of Halepuna.

Amazing hotel within walking distance of so much. Top notch staff and accommodations. Clean bathroom good size room. The pool and pool bar were one of my favorite things.

Excellent hotel service and room with very central Waikiki location. Good dining options between Halepuna and Halekulani.
