We stayed in a Deluxe Ocean View room and it was excellent. Views across the beach to Diamond Head were stunning and the balcony was in shade for majority of the day. The Aloha Caffe is so handy throughout the day with happy hour from 12pm to 6 - which was great value. Taciana did a fantastic job in looking after our room and she is a credit to the hotel - thank you very much!! The location is ideal - and not noisy in anyway. This is our third time to Waikīkī and we would stay here again.

Kristina took care of me checking in. She was super helpful, polite, funny and knowledgeable! She started off my stay in Hawaii perfectly!

I booked a 6-night stay at the OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel and paid extra for an ocean view. As usual, they gave me a partial view instead. The hotel also advertised breakfast, but it turns out the café "Hawaiian Aroma Caffe at Beachcomber Waikiki" serves disappointing food. I left a comment there as well. So I was misled on both fronts: the view and the breakfast. It felt like I was getting a good deal, but it wasn’t. Just a heads-up, be cautious when booking here.

We had a fantastic time at the Outrigger Beachcomber in August! Our experience was highlighted by their team of great individuals. We recognized and appreciated their hospitality from the moment we arrived. Our ocean view rooms exceeded our expectations. Very clean, modern, inviting and with great views of Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head and Intl Market Place. In our opinion, their location is perfect and offers an abundance of entertainment, dining and shopping options. Not to mention the exuberant events hosted by Beachcomber! Now, I must not forget to mention Joshua at front desk, Mahalo brah! Not only were you very accommodating and helpful, you also presented us with great suggestions throughout our stay, Your attention to detail is much on point! As well to the hotels manager - Ira, who addressed a couple of unforeseen circumstances swiftly, big thank you! To our friendly hosts Marilyn (23rd), and Estrelita (25th), Mahalo ❤ You both made our stay very relaxing and memorable 😊 Overall, we enjoyed our trip, glad we stayed at the Beachcomber and hope to be back soon!

Location is perfect. Right in the middle of everything that is Waikiki. Entrance is up the escalators into the main foyer however there is also a side door in the lane way that takes you to the lifts. This makes easy access if you are carrying your own luggage or want to avoid the sometimes busy reception area. Rooms are clean and nice. We had a Ocean View Room and had a small fridge with a small corner table and seating. This made it easier for eating any meals brought into your room. We found it rather expensive overall in Waikiki and would often get breakfast or a lunch at one of the many ABC stores and eat in our room. The amenities in the room are very basic (no shower caps, cotton buds etc) however our housekeeping service replenished other things daily. We had a coffee machine however asked for a kettle also for tea or even noodles etc. We found the coffee terrible overall in Hawaii and the only place we enjoyed it was Island Coffee in the Royal Hawaiian Centre across the Rd. Great breakfast too. There is a Brewery downstairs and a small coffee shop and the Pool have poolside Pizza, Fries and Cocktails. Pool Area is small for size of the hotel so it is hit and miss if you get a pool bed. Pool Towels and Sunscreen are provided. Outside you are in the middle of buzzing Waikiki and restaurants, bars and shops. We loved the area and would always feel so safe returning to our hotel late at night. ABC Stores are every where and if you dont know what they are, think 7/11 on steroids. We would buy so much from them including alcohol, snacks and even sandwiches and salads. Sometimes a much cheaper alternative to restaurants 3 times per day. Most of the tour buses leave from a block away, you are right opposite the beach and next door to the International Market. If I returned, I would stay here again. The Staff were always pleasant. Tips: Stay on a high floor and I would think most rooms have some type of Ocean View. Most restaurants in the area need to be booked in advance otherwise prepare for a long line or wait time. Cheesecake Factory, Dukes (3 x restaurants) and so many restaurants and food courts opposite or next door in the International Market. Be prepared for big $$ for meals and drinks everywhere. We went to FoodLand at Ala Moana Shopping Centre and got some snacks and fruit, drinks etc. We did save some money as we were there for 10 days. Keep your ABC receipts. After spending $100 US you are entitled to a gift. This comes around rather easy after 10 days. We loved Beachcomber and really wouldnt stay any where else.
