Great location
This is a great location. It is very close to restaurants, shopping, and anything you might need. We arrived very early and paid $100 for early check in which we thought was worth it. The valet parking was convenient however, at $57 a day seems expensive, but everything in Hawaii is expensive. We booked this room through Costco and the package included a car. However, there was no mention of the parking fees at the hotel. Unless you plan on driving to the North shore(which we did) I would not rent a car. There is a laundry room on the valet parking floor. Get there early if you want to get one of the three washing machines or 4 dryers. You can use a credit card for the machines but you will need quarters if you plan to buy detergent. Although, we were told that we could order anything on the menu with the voucher card, that is not entirely true. There is only 9 tables in the breakfast area so it is more convenient to take your breakfast to your room and enjoy it there.I have included a photo of the menu you must choose from in this review. We booked a deluxe ocean view room. We were on the 17th floor. We did have a view but it was somewhat blocked by several other hotels. Also, our balcony was facing West so mornings were the only enjoyable time we could spend on it. Our house keepers were excellent and very thorough, especially if you tip them.

BEST WELCOME EVER
Kristina at checkin greeted us with such bubbly enthusiasm and went above and beyond to help us with everything from suggesting seeing the Cirque show to where we could find everything we wanted to find with the map. Thanks Kristina Location is exceptional, rooms are beautiful and value for money fantastic.

Exceptional service
Kristina in reception was very friendly, happy and went beyond our expectations, nothing was too much trouble for her. Would certainly recommend staying at the Outrigger.

Family trip
My kids were visiting from Ohio so I booked the beachcomber hotel. Mildred settled us in with a gift from Ceci. Myna and Liping took care of our room all weekend. I will keep this hotel in mind for when they return for future visits
