Nice location, near to galleria mall, in room facilities are ok, no tea cattle,toilet amenities are good . Check in take at least 1 hour as only one or two persons are on reception.staff is cooperative.No complimentary water bottles. 500 ml water cost is 3 $.

Shockingly terrible customer service. Was coming in on a business trip and arrived at 1am, left me sitting at the counter with no communication at all for ~30 minutes that late at night. Finally come out and booked me a smoking room in a motel a few blocks over because they overbooked. I asked for a refund, and they said they would not give me one. One star, will never be staying here again. Would not recommend to anyone

One hour’s waiting for a sandwich, I can’t belive, I ordered at 12:3o and it is 1:20 and nothing . The said to much Clientes ordered but it is a 5 star . Demasiado retardo rn una cafeteria de un hotel 5 estrella y el costo no justifica la espera , terrible

Booked a reservation the week prior for a business trip. After an exhausting day of travel and meetings, I found the lobby to be extremely disorganized. The staff struggled to check anyone in and a line was going out the door. After 30 minutes, a man motions for me to finally come up only to step away for an extended time. When he returns, he looks up my information only to say, "I see your reservation right here, but we don't have any rooms left." I asked him what the point of a reservation was and why they gave away my room. He ignored my question and told me that the next door hotel had rooms and they would be expecting me; That was a lie too. I spent another hour trying to find a place with same-day availability. This hotel is not to be trusted. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else.

Certainly not the once-grand Royal Sonesta. Dilapidated rooms (peeling paint from the bathroom ceilings), musty carpet smells and terrible customer service (Ja'Marcus). Amenities such as bottled water were never provided. The hotel is roughly on par with a 15-year old Holiday Inn. It should be rated as a 2-star hotel, not 4-stars.
