OMG!! Absolutely beautiful. The hotel and the service. My daughter and I visited the Thompson for my birthday and it was wonderful. I had called a couple of nights before our arrival and Eboni was a delight. The front desk team and hostess were a gem. Thank you Arianaa, Angelica, Andrew, Melissa and Jen. And a special thank you to Bryan, the bartender, for showing us a lil southern hospitality from Louisiana. We'll definitely return.

The bed and the pillows were so comfortable it made me want to sleep in. The staff is phenomenal and cater to you. The food was delicious and so were the adult beverages.

Don't believe the hype!
Beware of inflated fees and $175 a night incidentals fee. This "upscale" hotel is just smoke and mirrors. I've stayed at other places that were much better.

Birthday at the Thompson
The best place to stay in Houston! It was a trip to celebrate our son’s birthday and after a three hour flight delay, we were all exhausted. Once we finally arrived to our room, they had the room all decorated for his birthday with treats, balloons, and even an astronaut light to make it look like space! They definitely went above and beyond, and he was so excited after a long travel day- thank you for making our stay so special!
