About the Hotel
Set on a two and a half-hectare site with 200 metres of frontage on the fabled Perfume River, Azerai La Residence, Hue has 122 rooms & suites. The colonial mansion at the heart of the resort was built in 1930s as part of the residence of the French Resident Superieure. The mansion’s distinctive façade, its long horizonal lines and nautical flourishes are hallmark of the streamline moderne school of art deco architecture. Its two complementary wings, built in 2005, are contemporary in design yet echo elements of art deco aesthetics and embrace an expansive tropical garden and salt-water swimming pool.

Fabulous Hotel
This a fantastic hotel with fabulous staff and a beautiful clean room. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Hue. The attention to detail such as the doorman; complimentary drinks and snacks in the afternoon in the lobby; the friendly atmosphere and attentive staff; quality of food & drink, really made us feel special during our stay.

One of the most perfect hotels. An exceptional building, on beautiful well-kept grounds, with a big, deep pool. The building is a beautiful example of the 1930's colonial architectural style. The rooms are lovely, the gym has everything you need, and the peaceful nature of the property, both inside and out, adds to a quality experience. The location is great, beside the river, and close enough to all the busy spots, but at a distance that keeps you relaxed. What maybe rises above all this, and makes this hotel so wonderful, is the staff. The hotel management and staff make the experience perfect. It is the highest level of service, friendliness, and accommodation. I wish I could remember everyone's name, but Sấm, Lien, and especially Vy, made me want to book another week. In conclusion, an absolutely perfect hotel. Similar to the Metropole in Hanoi, this is where you want to stay in Hue.

Nice choice in Hue
A very solid hotel in Hue. Beautiful old Art Deco design in the lobby areas. Incredibly kind staff, especially Ms. Nguyet. We booked day tours through the hotel and both were very good. The breakfast was great and dinner was good as well. Rooms are on the older side so don’t expect anything too modern. But overall a nice and comfortable stay.
