I had planned a five-day personal trip to Hyderabad to spend quality time with my parents. However, due to unforeseen work commitments, I ended up spending three of those days at our Hyderabad branch office, leaving little time with them. To make it up, I treated them to a special getaway that turned into a magical stay at Falaknuma. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt like stepping into a dream. The regal carriage ride, traditional royal welcome, peacocks strutting about, impeccable personalized dining, live music, the intimate access to palace rooms, and above all, the incredibly warm and attentive staff made it truly unforgettable. I’ve stayed at places like the Four Seasons in Las Vegas, The Ritz Carlton in Hong Kong, and the Hilton in Bali—but Falaknuma surpasses them all. What sets it apart is the heartfelt hospitality. Every corner of the property exudes care—from the exceptional restaurants and spa, to the bar and reception. Even the night watchman went the extra mile, guiding us with a flashlight to ensure we didn’t stumble over the historic grounds. The suite was a perfect blend of elegance and comfort—plush furnishings, a spacious bathroom, and thoughtful details like a multani mitti mask and a generous welcome tray filled with local delights. Since I'm an unapologetic foodie, it's only fitting that I dedicate this section entirely to the culinary magic we experienced. **Adaa:** The Marag, Patthar ka Gosht, and the Biryani—absolutely divine! What truly touched our hearts was the thoughtful gesture of preparing a special batch of egg biryani for my parents, who don’t eat meat. The kitchen also lovingly accommodated our Telugu taste buds with comforting dishes like tomato pappu. I’ve dined at Michelin-starred restaurants, but nothing quite compares to personalized food that’s tailored to your preferences without sacrificing flavor. My parents were thrilled with the variety and care, and we ended up returning to Adaa both nights of our stay. **Breakfast:** I’ve had my fair share of complimentary breakfasts, and most have been forgettable. But Falaknuma broke the mold. The traditional Indian offerings outshone the continental spread, showcasing rich flavors without going overboard. The idlis were soft as clouds, and the vadas had that perfect crispy lightness—pure bliss! **Bar:** Even during our luxurious stay, I had to hop on a late-night work call. After the meeting, I was mentally drained and in need of a solid drink. I asked where the bar was and was directed upstairs to the hookah lounge. The bartender not only mixed me something strong and spot-on, but also sparked lively conversations with fellow guests. Before long, we were all chatting away and laughing into the night. There's something surreal about partying in a palace once owned by the richest man on earth! **Final Thoughts:** From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt genuinely cared for—through every meal, interaction, and detail. The love and hospitality enveloped us completely. We savored every moment... and yes, we’ll absolutely be back!!!

Taj Falaknuma is an experience that stays with you long after you leave. they made every effort to make us feel like royalty. Special mention to Nasar, the restaurant manager, whose attention to detail and warmth elevated our dining experience including arranging Ekadashi food because my wife was on a fast. Dhanush wasexceptional in ensuring we had everything we needed, and the servers Sudhakar and Gaurav were attentive, polite, and quick to anticipate our preferences. Kudos to Ahmed Bilal deserves at Coffee machine in GOL Banglow for preparing the perfect cup every time with such passion and skill. The ambience is breathtaking, and the historical richness of the place adds an unmatched charm. The spa steam room was another highlight—relaxing and beautif Overall, a great experience made truly memorable.

Food, spa and services are poor compared to other Taj properties though Falaknuma is claimed to be one of the best Taj property. Property is great and worth money, but experience is not.
