Stayed at this hotel a couple of times and always enjoy coming back. Highlights - lovely champagne on arrival, peaceful and scenic grounds on the river, great breakfast, fantastic local beers in the bar. However, best part of latest stay was a room visit from a local cat. I left my patio doors open to enjoy some fresh air as I had a mid morning snooze and woke up with a lovely cat in my bed. Fantastic.

. We were given a warm welcome and shown to the dining area to a beautiful table looking on to the river. I think it was Kevin he used to work in the Kingsmills. All the staff were wonderful. We were there for our friends birthday. She was meant to have been with her husband. They have stayed with you before and they loved their stay and it made a very sad situation a bit easier. He very sadly has brain cancer and the staff know this. Things are deteriorating and they changed the afternoon tea to today with respect and understanding. The staff knew what was going on and made Lynn’s day very special. Although all the staff were amazing, I would like you to know about Monica. She treated us so beautifully. Her compassion and attention to detail was far beyond service I have ever experienced. She made us cry and only because we were overcome by her compassion, honesty and kindness. She gave Lynn a big hug as she talked about her tragic situation. She also offered sensible and genuine support. She touched all our hearts. Kevin treated us like we were royality. The staff there were so polite and attentive. The food and drinks were delicious. The surrounds were gorgeous and this was more than a 5 star experience. We were not rushed and offered refills and checked on that we were all ok. It was personal and it was extreme kindness. A day we will never forget. Can you share this with Mr Storey please. Also can you pass our gratitude to Monica, Kevin and all the staff at the beautiful Ness Walk. We are going to book very soon again. I would say this is the best hospitality we have ever experienced. What a credit your staff are to you.

Best breakfast I have had in UK. Spotlessly clean and comfy bed. Beautiful surroundings, right in front of the river. Perfect welcome with champagne. We made a trip to Skye and Bella gave us a warm service. She is such a lovely lady.

The place is super clean. The service is the best, especially Bella. She helped me to organise what to do and where to visit. Breakfast is the best too and we are lucky we managed to see our first snowfall in Inverness. Such a memorable stay.
