Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres

Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres was absolutely beautiful! The resort is so well thought out and the attention to detail is incredible. Every space is gorgeous and just adds to the whole experience. We absolutely loved Bordeaux, Coco Cafe, and Oceana. The spa is a MUST visit! Do yourself a favor and find Fernando at either the beach bar or Preferred Club bar - he was the BEST! Such a joy to see each day, and he even started going almost knee-deep into the ocean to bring us drinks! We were never left thirsty!

We stayed at Secrets Playa Blanca in Costa Mujeres last February for four nights, and it was a wonderful experience. The property is absolutely beautiful, with several inviting pools and a gorgeous beach lined with plenty of shaded palapas. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully decorated, with natural fibers adding a warm, coastal feel. The highlight was the wall behind the king-size bed—a stunning, handcrafted macramé piece that gave the room so much character. Since we booked the Preferred Club, we especially enjoyed the exclusive lounge, pool area, and breakfast restaurant. The extra amenities truly made our stay feel more elevated. Our butler service, however, was just okay—not a major issue since the resort is so large and we really didn’t need much assistance. The only hiccup came on our departure day, when we had arranged for our luggage to be picked up. After waiting 15 minutes with no sign of our butler or a porter, we rolled our bags to the lobby ourselves to avoid missing our transfer. All the other staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and professional. The food was very good throughout our stay, and overall, it was a perfect getaway. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, restful resort in Costa Mujeres.

If you vacation for outstanding service, food, amenities, cleanliness and pools this is the place to go. The preferred club is a must to enjoy upgraded amenities. If you vacation for the beach and beautiful water this isn’t a good resort. The water was full of seaweed they clean the beach in the morning, but the seaweed built up during the day. With that being said, there is anything the resort can do about the water. They do need to improve their entertainment department. Nothing really going on during the day and their few night time shows, weren’t any good. Overall an outstanding vacation!

the property is stunning, hotel rooms are very modern and well designed, we stayed at building 3 and our butler were Belen which did a great job keeping us updated with daily activities and all our needs . Few suggestions, updating your room to preferred club is not nessesary because it was overpriced unless money is not an issues , for diner allow your self an extra 45 to 1 hr waiting time to the restaurants since they do get crowded, if you are a beach person wake up at 7am otherwise no chair at the beach , pools crowded most of the day , food was amazing I would say but service overall wasn’t to our expectations, employees need to be trained properly because I saw look of experience starting with the person that informs you about coupons and property at the preferred club desk with was kind of rude and waiters need to be trained to the standards of 5 star hotel , overall was great property but we won’t go back !

The best Sectrets hotel we have stayed at so far. It’s a new hotel so the gardens are not yet fully grown, but are still beautiful. The service as always was excellent across all departments, just a bit better than some of the others and that is some accolade given the high expectations. Too many staff interactions to mention them all by name, but a big thanks to Gustavo and Duran in building 2 for their genuine care and attention to all of our requirements. Also Elias and Jeffery on the beach. A fantastic 12 days in this amazing resort.
