Jaipur city, a UNESCO World Heritage site, forms one vertex of India’s Golden Triangle circuit and is your gateway to Rajasthan. This palace hotel, a reincarnation of the royal mahals of Jaipur, is located in tranquil environs away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It blends the splendour of Rajputana and Mughal architecture with pristine white exteriors embellished with ornate jaalis and silver-lined chhatris.
Walk along the marbled corridors adorned with parchin kari metal inlays and walls sparkling with thikri mirror work. Pause to admire vibrant frescoes depicting historical scenes. Sit back and relax in one of our many airy pavilions dotted with marble fountains. At sunset, join the evening ceremonial ritual, a Rajasthani folk music and dance gala at the poolside. Wine and dine under the stars gazing at the Aravalli hills before retiring to your boudoir. At every turn, The Leela Palace Jaipur, a luxury hotel in Jaipur, wows you with true Indian luxury, truly living up to its reputation as a 5-star hotel in Jaipur.

Our stay at The Leela Palace Jaipur was beautiful overall, the palace is stunning and the ambience is truly luxurious. The housekeeping and gardening teams were exceptional, always warm and welcoming with genuine smiles. Anurag and Kalyan in particular were incredibly kind. However, our welcome experience was not well organised. We arrived at the same time as another family travelling with us and the staff immediately grouped us together, communicating only with one member who was not even flying with us. This confusion created an unpleasant start for my husband and me as a couple, as we were repeatedly treated as part of someone else’s booking. I would strongly suggest that if guests are travelling with extended family or people from different countries, they clearly inform the reception to communicate directly with them instead of assuming groups. It was also advertised that plunge pool rooms come with a personal butler, but in our case the butler was shared across four rooms occupied by other family who were traveling with their two children and we were rarely checked on, often having to fetch things ourselves. When the other family raised concerns, the manager responded by sending treats to everyone, which unfortunately made them feel responsible for the situation and added to the frustration until I eventually spoke directly to the team. By then we only had one day left of our stay. Ragini was the one who truly helped resolve things and made our final day pleasant, and our new butler Akshat did everything possible for us, which we really appreciated. One small suggestion is regarding the white flower garlands used for welcoming guests and the strong fragrance used around the hotel and rooms, it was quite overpowering and even caused allergies for my niece and me. Despite these issues, the palace itself is lovely and the hardworking staff behind the scenes are wonderful. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience, and we are especially thankful to Ragini for making our last day memorable.

The Jamavar restaurant in the Leela Palace was superb. From Amuse Bouche, then the best Thali one can imagine. The tomato and coriander consomme was incredible. Our waitress Suman was delightful and explained everything
