In no particular order: Communication with the Butler community is via Whatsapp. So much easier than calling reception. You can ping them with anything at all for your visit, including everything you would ask concierge for. 14th floor pool, gardens and gymn. Very pleasant place to chill. There is also a bar up there. Breakfast, lots of choice, very few Westerners appeared to be visiting so it's not the usual selection you get in the West - I loved it! Lots of hot and cold choice and a menu you can order from too. Lots of staff, so service is brilliant. And considering we are in Indonesia, their level of English is exceptional! Even the basic rooms are special. I'd love to see a suite, as my 'basic' room, is a mini suite. The hotel didn't have a non-smoking room available when I booked. I was worried that I could smell smoke in the room - which I hate, but I couldn't smell smoke, which is refreshing. They did however say that they would move me when they had spare, but I didn't bother. Room has huge bathroom with very large shower, separate bath, and separate toilet (with heated seat , a first for me!). Room has coffee machine, water machine (the water from the tap is not drinkable), and a stocked mini bar. Great free internet, in every part of the hotel I went to Onearby there is a small district of restaurants, a basic mall, with a lot of electronic resellers, and a little further on, a more upmarket mall. I wouldn't try getting across the road other than through the traffic light controlled one, which is a little further down on the hotel side. I booked a car pickup from the hotel, a nicely chilled Range Rover Evoque with wifi, water, snacks etc.. IDR 900k which is £40. You get met inside the airport and taken to your driver, super convenient. There always seemed to be taxis outside the hotel, so getting about by taxi didn't look to be a problem. I used the MyBluebird app to order taxis (no Uber in Jakarta). Decent iron and ironing board in the room, although the will press three items a day FoC (you can't accumulate the three a day) Brolly in the room also All the plugs appear to be universal sockets, or more accurately, they take UK a European pkugs. Amusingly, the room kettle had a UK plug on it. The rest of the equipment appeared to have standard EU plugs. Having the shopping mall attached is very convenient, access it from the first floor straight into the mall. And the mall is definitely worth a wander around for shopig, entertainment and eating. Pool area is very good. A decent number of loungers with mattresses, and covered / curtained areas if you prefer. There is a hot tub and a main pool. Main pool is at 29 degrees C. And the large hot tube is at 38. Gym is decent, with somebody on hand to help out, provide towels etc.. (not sure if they are there 24x7, there were there at 7am). I'm not sure I would run outside on the streets - the air quality in the city centre doesn't feel like suitable running air. To be fair, I don't know what the air quality is like I the city, something to check. I have seem people running / walking around the pool area, as ther is a path that runs around some beautiful gardens. Circuit length - TBC. Downsides: I'm a very light sleeper so could hear the traffic ( I was on the 16th floor, overlooking the main entrance). I suspect the side next to the road is even noisier. I sat outside in the pool area and couldn't hear the road, so if you can overlook that, on floors 15-25). And of course higher is better. To be fair it is not the usual traffic, but there are some modified mopeds that have very load exhausts, it is them you can hear, and there aren't many of them. The drinking water dispenser doesn't chill. You can grab bottles from the mini bar or buy some from the supermarket on the ground floor of the attached shopping mall (very cheaply) and store them in the mini bar. No ice machine on the floor. That said, the mains water is not drinkable so a mains connected ice machine would be painful to manage on each floor. The wifi signal can be a bit hit and miss, especially if you are trying to Whatsapp call (voice). The cellular network doesn't seem to be much better.

Raffles Jakarta will always have my heart every time I visit Jakarta. their service is above excellence. Room is very comforting. This is the hotel that I need when I visit Jakarta. Gym is very updated and clean. Also from the concierge, doormen, lounge staff, everyone seems very good at their hospitality. Kudos to the team

This is not my first time staying at Raffles Jakarta, and the reason I keep coming back is simple: the magical service from the staff and the spacious, beautifully designed bedrooms and suites. This time, it wasn’t just my husband, kids, and I who stayed — I also brought my mom and sister. When I booked a room for my mom, the team thoughtfully set up a prayer set (mat and mukena) in her room. That level of detail is not something you find in every five-star hotel, and it touched us deeply. As for my own room, they absolutely spoiled my kids by setting up a real tent inside — not just a small play tent, but a full, proper one! On top of that, they even prepared two small bathrobes and slippers for the kids. Seeing them in their little robes and slippers was just adorable. The room was, as always, spotless and perfectly maintained, making us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. At check-in, the reception staff even remembered all the details of my itinerary, including that I had a make-up artist arriving early the next day. I didn’t have to repeat or re-confirm anything — their attention to detail and organization was outstanding. I also indulged in the Raffles Signature Massage after a long day, and it was exactly what I needed. The treatment room was quiet, the ambiance was soothing, and the therapist’s hands were simply unbelievable — I left feeling refreshed and tension-free. Breakfast at Raffles is always a highlight. Everything was delicious, from the international to the local options. I did miss the steak they sometimes serve for breakfast, but the rotating menu ensured there were plenty of other amazing dishes to enjoy. Overall, I am always amazed by the warmth, thoughtfulness, and professionalism of every staff member at Raffles Jakarta. For me, it’s impossible to come to Jakarta and not stay here. We will definitely be back again very soon!

We stayed here in early September as part of my birthday's staycation. The location is in Central Jakarta and is situated next to the Lotte Mall Jakarta. The parking spots were full when we were checking in around 4PM. We had to park in the mall area as a result. The walk was a little far. The check in process was quick and smooth. The concierge were attentive and helped me with keeping a package that was being sent to the property. As a Platinum Accor member, I redeemed my Suite Upgrade option to be upgraded to the Artist suite. The suite was spacious, comfortable and beautifully designed. The suite had living room with a sizeable working desk. The suite also came with daily replenishment of selected mini bar items. The bedroom was pretty large, with a nice bed and to die for pillows. The bathroom was huge, with a tub that overlooked the city, and also a wonderful shower. The bathroom also had a sizeable walk in closet area. The team was thoughtful enough putting birthday balloon on top of the working desk when we first came to the suite. Further, they also came to our room and sent me a small cake with candle. A thoughtful gesture from the hotel. But, the highlight for me was the quality of food that were served during breakfast as well as during dinner and afternoon tea at the Club lounge. Everything I thought were excellent. The variety of menus and the quality of ingredients were superb. Their croissant was heavenly. A brief mention of the pool. I thought it was adequately sized but was not too amusing to our liking. Overall, an excellent stay at Raffles Jakarta.

From the moment I arrived at Raffles Jakarta, I felt completely looked after. The check-in was seamless, in the room, and the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. The hotel itself is stunning – modern elegance blended with comfort. Our twin bed room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed. Multiple luxury touches (I am an ACCORPLUS platinum member) included a truly gorgeous welcome treat in the form of a fruit platter. When I admired it I was offered one on a daily basis, which did eventuate, much to our joy Soft drinks and waters in the minibar were also complimentary. Housekeeping was impeccable throughout our stay. Staff referred to us by name from the second day and the butlers literally couldn’t do enough to help us (example, I was told that my particular brand of toothpaste was nearly finished (true) and did I want them to obtain a replacement for me. The dining options were outstanding. Breakfast was a highlight, with an impressive selection of fresh, beautifully prepared dishes that catered to every taste. I also enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant, where both the food and service exceeded expectations. Staff were incredibly friendly and felt like long term friends after about ten days. Facilities were equally excellent – from the large pool to the jacuzzi and surrounding spacious garden which were maintained to the highest standard. I also appreciated the quiet spaces to relax, including the Club Lounge. What made this hotel stand out most was the staff. Every interaction, from reception to restaurant to housekeeping, was handled with genuine warmth and professionalism. Another example is that we praised the coffee in the Club Lounge, and were later presented with two jars of it to bring home (thanks and praise for ‘above and beyond’ go to Rio from the Club Lounge). I would also like to point out that during our stay there were fierce demonstrations and riots in Jakarta. At no point did we feel threatened. The hotel kept us up to date, were honest and did not try to patronise us – rather helped out with advice about where to go, and where not to go, and when. One night when things were particularly bad and there was rioting close to the hotel, the hotel opened rooms and allowed staff to stay the night. I really admired that level of care for the staff who were looking after us so well. In short, this hotel delivered one of the best stays we’ve ever had. We left feeling rested, spoiled, and are already planning our return. Highly, highly recommended.
