Raffles Jakarta

Spending 150 nights travelling in 2025, i have my fair share of travel stories, both good and bad. But Raffles Jakarta is just amazing. The experience of staying in Raffles is definitely a highlight of any of my stays overseas. Since 2023, whenever im in Jakarta, i would stay Raffles, and till today, i am like a 10 year old kid, excited about my stay in Raffles. Thank you team Raffles and a special shout out to Mr Aria Damar. His constant smile, his service, and his dedication is 2nd to none. Thank you for making my stay an amazing experience.

Staff were hospitable and attentive, especially the infamous Raffles butlers. Our suite was extremely spacious, well-stocked and well-designed. Breakfast, evening cocktail and afternoon tea were of the highest quality and delivery. Simply put, it was THE perfect stay.

I’ve stayed in many wonderful hotels over the years, but Raffles Jakarta stands out so distinctly that it deserves special recognition. The combination of impeccable service, thoughtful design, incredible food, and genuine warmth from the staff truly elevates it to another level. Elegant, Spacious, and Perfectly Designed Rooms The room I stayed in was nothing short of spectacular. Incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed, and thoughtfully laid out, it struck an ideal balance between modern luxury and classic elegance. The décor was tasteful and refined, with every element—from the furnishings to the artwork—curated to perfection. It felt as though no detail had been overlooked. Everything I could possibly need was already there, presented in a way that made the room feel not just comfortable, but indulgent. Outstanding Butler Service — A Class of Its Own One of the true highlights of my stay was the exceptional butler service. I must give special and heartfelt praise to Head Butler Fachrul. To say he was amazing would actually be an understatement. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made a world of difference. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Whether it was arranging details, answering questions, or ensuring every delight of my stay was managed flawlessly, he executed everything with grace and precision. It is rare these days to experience service that feels both world-class and truly personal, but that is exactly what Fachrul and his team delivered. The Raffles Club — A Culinary Highlight Night After Night Each evening, I dined in the Raffles Club, which very quickly became one of the great pleasures of my stay. The atmosphere is serene and sophisticated—almost like stepping into a private fine-dining restaurant. The menu changed daily, offering new flavours, beautifully presented dishes, and consistently high-quality cuisine. Every meal felt like a special occasion. The staff in the Club were equally impressive—attentive, welcoming, and always ready with a warm smile or thoughtful recommendation. It is rare to find such consistently superior dining combined with such exceptional service. A Convenient and Connected Location Another strong point of the hotel is its superb location. Being directly attached to a large, upscale shopping centre was incredibly convenient. Whether popping out for a quick browse, looking for additional dining options, or simply wanting to explore, everything was right there—just steps away, without the need for taxis or long walks in the Jakarta heat. Poolside Perfection & Relaxation The pool area was equally impressive. Spacious, beautifully maintained, and offering plenty of comfortable loungers and cabanas, it provided a peaceful retreat from the city. It’s the sort of pool area where you can easily spend hours relaxing without feeling crowded or rushed. The ambiance was calm and inviting—an ideal spot to unwind. Thoughtful Touches That Make a Big Difference I also appreciated the excellent turn-down service each night. Returning to a perfectly prepared room always adds an extra touch of relaxation at the end of the day. The staff’s use of WhatsApp for communication made everything incredibly smooth and effortless—just another example of how the hotel blends traditional luxury with modern convenience. A Farewell That Came Too Soon By the time I checked out, I found myself genuinely reluctant to leave. I’m only half-joking when I say I was almost in tears as I walked out the door! When a hotel manages to make you feel that comfortable and cared for, you know it has done something extraordinary. A Heartfelt Thank You To all the staff at Raffles Jakarta: thank you for a truly unforgettable stay. Your kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made this visit one of the finest hotel experiences I have ever had. I am already looking forward to returning—and next time, I hope to stay even longer.
