I recently stayed again at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place, and it continues to offer a comfortable and well-positioned option in the heart of the city. The hotel’s location is a key highlight. Being directly connected to Pacific Place Mall provides excellent convenience, with easy access to a wide selection of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. This makes it particularly suitable for both business and leisure travellers. One of the most impressive aspects of the stay is the generous room size and layout. The accommodation feels more like a private residence, featuring a separate living room, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. This setup is especially ideal for extended stays or for guests who value space and flexibility. Service remains a strong point. The staff were consistently friendly, polite, and attentive throughout my visit, delivering the warm hospitality expected from the Ritz-Carlton brand. That said, as this was my second stay, I did notice that the room interiors are starting to feel dated when compared with some of the newer luxury hotels in Jakarta. While still comfortable and well maintained, a refresh would help enhance the overall experience and keep the property aligned with evolving luxury standards. Overall, The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place remains a reliable choice thanks to its excellent location, spacious rooms, and high level of service.

I need more stars! I’ve stayed in a LOT of hotels over the years, and this is my all time favorite. Indonesia is not as expensive as the US, I usually can’t afford to stay at a Ritz Carlton, but I’m so glad I treated myself to this stay. I had come from a jungle trekking trip, and I was sore, achy and exhausted, and a few days here was absolute heaven. I think about every single staff member weeks after the trip, they were so kind to me and took wonderful care of me. The room was enormous, the bed was just so lush, the bathroom was to die for. One day I didn’t even leave the hotel, I just ate meals in my room or the lounge, got a massage, and luxuriated in my enormous bathtub. It really was a beautiful place to stay. If you go to Indonesia I highly recommend a few days here.

I had high expectations before arriving at this hotel, and they were not just met but exceeded. We stayed here twice—once at the beginning of our trip through Indonesia and again at the end. Despite our brief stays, we felt genuinely welcomed and at home, which was undoubtedly influenced by Ashee and the rest of the Guest Recognition team. Both of our visits took place over a weekend, meaning there were special activities for children: painting during the first stay and fun gymnastic classes with Benny during our second. The Club Lounge also offered some special weekend treats, which made each stay all the more memorable. My only minor “complaint” is that I ended up too full from trying so many delicious options! Staff members throughout the hotel were excellent, including those in the Club Lounge who always made sure there was something to suit our tastes. Because our children tend to be picky eaters, the team even prepared special dishes for them—something we greatly appreciated. We had the chance to try breakfast at the Pasola restaurant, which we really enjoyed, especially when arriving early to beat the rush. From the à la carte menu, the dishes were great, and Feris made sure we had top-notch service. My wife and her mother took advantage of the spa treatments and were very pleased with their experience. My wife also attended the Saturday morning yoga session, which was both high-quality and personal thanks to the smaller group. Lastly, kudos to the pool staff for their wonderful service—towels, water, and anything else we needed arrived quickly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we look forward to returning again.

Mbak Mutia the hostess, Jahliani the MOD were very professional and courtesy. Akbar the CDC also ensure my 'nasi goreng' and all the rest of the pasola food.
