Definitely worth staying
Great location, great customer service. The hotel may be old but the rooms were updated with beautiful natural light. The location of the hotel was centrally located, close to the street cart, close to so many restaurants, and close to the convention center.

Great place for a vacation or special event!
The Hotel Kansas City was lovely! We were there for a wedding and the friendly, helpful staff did a fantastic job on all fronts! Our room was cozy as well as spacious - but I have to brag on the lobby - a great gathering place for wedding guests coming and going - making the trip even more special.

An excellent experience in a historic building. As usually Hyatt went above and beyond. The breakfast portions are a little smaller than they were during our February stay, but still just as delicious.

Wonderful Classic Hotel in a great location
Had a terrific stay at the Hotel Kansas City. The hotel has a wonderful mix of history and modern conveniences. The staff was excellent particularly the front desk and valet crew. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was very nice. Extremely convenient to the T-Mobile Arena. Would highly recommend the Hotel Kanas City for your stay in downtown

Charming historical hotel in downtown KC
I stay at this hotel every month while traveling for work. If you love history and appreciate architecture, this spot is for you. This hotel abounds with historical charm. The staff is amazing, rooms are always clean, and the lobby market offers a wonderful breakfast menu with a gluten free bun option. Location can’t be beat, just a few blocks from all of the downtown Power and Light District action. The only parking option is valet but I’ve never waited more than 5-10 minutes for my vehicle.
