I had a lovely weekend stay at The Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne and absolutely loved the property. The outdoor spaces here were easily the highlight, with a wonderful sand-filled area behind one of the pools that was so peaceful for working remotely during the day and even better for lunch. The two different pool areas were extremely well maintained, and the view onto the beach was beautiful, particularly at sunset. And the spa facilities (particularly the plunge pool, sauna, and steam room) were also delightful despite my massage itself being a bit run-of-the-mill. The restaurants on site were a bit hit or miss, so I was glad we chose to venture into Miami one of our nights. And the front desk weren’t the most helpful with the handful of requests that came up (even asking for beach towels was a difficult one, which was weird). The facilities overall felt a bit dated, but there were even fun things to make up for it like the champagne vending machine in the lobby and the adorable golden retriever at the front desk. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place if you’re looking for a warm, Florida hotel with almost everything you need to stay on site most of your stay.

Mixed bag. The weather was perfect. Beats Miami low class culture that seems to have taken over since Covid. We stayed on the concierge floor. Food served was adequate but nothing special. The 2 restaurants on the premises were also just okay. We rented a cabana. It cost over a $1,000 a day. To say it was overpriced is a gross understatement. The service was poor. The cabana itself was worse for ware. To their credit after we told the front desk that we weren’t happy they took the charge off our bill! When you pay over a $1,000 a night for a room I think you deserve to get good treatment. I stayed at this Ritz years ago and the overall quality and ambiance has declined. Still a nice place to stay. Just below my expectations.

We have been to this property twice now, and are going again soon. The views from the ocean front rooms are fantastic and the service on the club level as well as at the adult pool is outstanding. We've met a few of their long time staff members through the years and they are always kind and helpful. It looks like it would be fun for families as well - seems to be a lot of activites at the family pool - but we've enjoyed keeping our trips there for just the 2 of us.

What a fabulous tennis center, staff and gorgeous beach. Really enjoyed the extensive property on a perfect spring weekend. Manny was indeed a stupendous start with valeting the car. Nothing more relaxing than a swim in the Atlantic with pelicans.

Check-in time was 4:00, room was not available until 5:00. I had my confirm showing I’d reserved a king room with a resort view. I was told, “sorry but we’re busy today and the only rooms now available have double beds.” “Resort view” turned out to be a view of a flat rooftop that extends sixty feet past the room. But, it does have the promised balcony! Why anyone would consider that a feature for this room is a mystery. From inside or outside the room I’d have no idea I was even at a resort, much less near the ocean. Before considering the high price, this was still a massive disappointment.
