Banyan Tree Samui

We stayed for four nights at this wonderful hotel after a weeks stay at the Ritz Carlton on Koh Samui. After such a good stay at the previous property, we felt that that experience could not be equalled but I’m delighted to say that the Banyan tree managed to do just that. The property is exquisite and the staff really do go out of their way to make you feel special. Nothing is too much trouble and always delivered with a smile. We stayed in a royal banyan villa - the villa was beautiful and commanded excellent views towards the sea. All the food we had was of an extremely high standard and delicious. Our villa host, Nicha, was superb and was always on hand for any assistance required, A lovely lady who is a real credit to the team at the Banyan tree. I look forward to visiting this hotel again next year for another few days in paradise. Thank you.

Our honeymoon stay at Banyan Tree was truly worth every moment and an experience we will always cherish. What made it so special was not just the beauty and luxury of the property, but the extraordinary way in which we were taken care of throughout our stay. A heartfelt mention to our villa host, Tak, who was absolutely brilliant. She was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring in every interaction. From ensuring our comfort to helping us with every little detail, she made us feel incredibly special and welcomed. Her warmth and professionalism added a very personal touch to our honeymoon experience. What impressed me the most was the level of attention and follow-up by the Banyan Tree team. The hospitality never felt mechanical — it felt sincere, thoughtful, and deeply guest-oriented. They truly understand how to create memorable experiences and make guests feel valued. This was more than just a luxury stay; it was a beautiful and unforgettable honeymoon experience filled with comfort, care, and wonderful memories. Highly recommended and absolutely worth the experience.

Travelled with our 9 month old. The hotel pick up was seamless. The resort is on a beautiful beach with breathtaking views. Our villa was the horizon which provided an amazing view. Definitely require buggy service to get to amenities of the resort from villas but this was very easy and enjoyable for all. Breakfast was lovely with many options. The staff and service was impeccable. Utilised the gym and the spa which was lovely. Thank you for a wonderful holiday

I emailed the spa in advance to book a 90minute treatment consisting of a 30min body scrub and then 60 min full body massage. I arrived at the front gate and was put in contact with guest services who arranged for a buggy to come and collect us to take us to the spa. Once at the spa, staff welcomed me and discussed the particulars of the treatment to confirm it was as expected and to make sure that everything was in order. I was taken to the massage room which was a lovely space with plenty of room to change and shower. The facilities were clean and relaxing. Thanks to Yallee for the amazing massage. The body scrub was invigorating and the massage after was just what I needed to relax and wind down after a busy few days on Koh Samui. Yallee was careful to check in at the start of the treatments to make sure everything was as I wanted (e.g. pressure), but then allowed me to relax as the treatment continued. Thanks for the relaxing experience and I hope to come back again in the future!

we have spent 8 days on Banyan tree Koh Samui, it was just like a dream. We stay in the Horizon Hillcrest Pool Villa, one on the highest the view was fantastic. The food at the breakfast, in villa dinning, or Saffron or beachside restaurant is very good. All the people are great, at the restaurant, housekeeping, buggy driver ... Atmosphere is very quiet no noise It was just perfect for us.
