Right from the start, the receptionists made us feel incredibly welcome. Ms. Dear was particularly delightful, and their exceptional hospitality made our stay absolutely fantastic. I personally think the GM is doing a fantastic job! Thank you for all the stuff members!

The view and the breakfast service get 5 stars. The view and the setting will take your breath away. The food and service at the breakfast was perfect every time! We also enjoyed the food and the staff at the Azure restaurant. We didn’t try the other restaurants. The hotel management fell short. First, we booked what they call a “1 Bedroom Five Island Villa with private pool”. The villa and the view were beautiful BUT this is NOT a 1 bedroom villa. There are only two rooms— a large bedroom with a small sitting area and tv (the TV doesn’t tilt towards the bed so you can’t watch TV from your bed) and a beautiful and large bathroom/closet. I paid about $125 per day extra for my son to get a rollaway bed and breakfast (which was included for only 2 people). I was surprised when I walked in the room and saw the rollaway placed right next to our bed because despite being advertised as a 1 bedroom villa, there wasn’t a separate living area for the rollaway. Also, at turn down, we only received two cookies or treats despite being 3 people- not a huge deal but a notable shortfall. One day, the hotel closed the pool and one of the 3 restaurants to hotel paying guests for almost all day so they could host a wedding. It seemed unfair to paying guests to be inconvenienced during a high season so the hotel could double dip and host a wedding. When we wanted to eat dinner only the Thai restaurant was open due to wedding events and the steakhouse being too busy to accommodate hotel guests until 9pm. We went to the bar to eat but it too was packed with hotel guests wanting to eat so there was nowhere to sit. The bar staff made no effort to help us find a place to sit by trying to move a couple of chairs or something. We had to drag around chairs and bring in a metal patio chair for ourselves. When I texted management to help me find a solution, I got the usual flood of apologies but no help. It was especially annoying when one of the staff members then came up to us and excitedly announced that the hotel manager had granted us two free drinks for our trouble- but, again, there were 3 of us! The didn’t want free drinks. I wanted good service. Finally, despite having booked the “included” boat and snorkel tour two days in advance, I was contacted by the hotel at the tour meeting time the day before to ask if I was on the way to the tour meeting point. I was confused because I had booked my tour for the following day. When I went to reception, I was told the tour was sold out for the following day. That was my breaking point. I had to get very upset with management and raise my voice before anything was done. Eventually, a reception desk manager contacted me to let me know that she had arranged a private boat trip for us. The trip was beautiful and the hotel sent a kind staff member to take care of all of our needs. It was a beautiful trip. Unfortunately, after so many issues our trip had already been negatively impacted. This is my second stay at a Conrad. Our first stay at a Conrad in the US earlier this year was also bumpy but the management quickly took care of the problem and we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay. I think from now on we will stick to more reliability managed brands.

The hotel is beautifully located, with all villas offering great privacy and stunning views of the Gulf of Thailand. Everything in the hotel is meticulously thought out, down to the smallest detail. The service is impeccable, and you're in constant contact via WhatsApp; no request is a problem; they respond immediately. We got exactly the villa I requested via email. They organized a fantastic tour of the entire island, and the hotel driver left us cold towels and local snacks every time we got in the car. Nothing disturbed our relaxation there; they don't even use gas-powered gardening tools, only electric ones to ensure quietness. The food is delicious; they have three restaurants: Thai, Mediterranean, and a steakhouse—super fancy. Breakfast there is truly a beautiful experience. The hotel is very spacious, and even though they were fully booked, there were no crowds anywhere. There was a wedding reception during our stay, but everything was so wonderfully organized that it didn't interfere with our relaxation at all. I recommend this place to everyone, a truly wonderful holiday

I celebrated my wife’s 50th here. We were about 35 guests and every single one cannot stop raving about how incredibly beautiful Conrad Koh Samui was. The breathtaking views, incredible rooms with private pools , the amazing food and spectacular facilities including a quaint little private beach was only matched be how exceptional all the staff were. A massive special thanks goes out to Pila for her patience and invaluable input in organizing an event that will forever be etched in our memories. We cannot wait to go back here!

I come to Botanikka Coffee Shop every time I stay at Conrad Samui, and it has slowly become one of those places I always look forward to. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. The shop is filled with vintage items—old-style telephones, vinyl records, hi-fi systems, and classic cameras—so it feels personal and lived-in, not styled on purpose. There’s also a small koi pond where you can feed the fish, which immediately sets a calm, slow pace. Afternoons are especially nice here, with the smell of freshly roasted coffee beans in the air, mixed with light lemongrass and ginger aromas. This time I ordered their butterfly pea refresher—refreshing and very Instagram-friendly. I also come here often for their daily workshops. Boom and Anne host coffee bean roasting, tea-making, and kombucha workshops, and what I really like is how genuine they are about it. They’re not just “running an activity”—they truly love coffee and treat it like an art form. They take time to explain flavors, roasting levels, and why small details matter, and you can feel how much care they put into every step. I had many firsts here: first time roasting coffee beans using professional, industry-level equipment, first time making and drinking kombucha, and first time petting their cat mascot, Xin, Sphynx 😂 Conversations with Boom and Anne are always easy and unforced. You can tell they enjoy sharing what they do, not selling it. Very chill, very sincere, and passionate in a quiet, authentic way. It’s a place where you naturally slow down, learn something new, and leave feeling lighter. I always end up coming back.
