Pacific Dream Photography was outstanding
We had a great experience with Cynthia of Pacific Dream Photography. She was fantastic: talented, patient, friendly and efficient. In about 40 minutes before sunset, we got some incredible family photos with 3 generations. What a treat. Thank you Cynthia!

Perfect.
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff. Room was modern and tasteful, and extremely clean. Took the free canoe ride, which was super fun and scenic. Lovely beach and at night, you can easily see the mantas swim up to Manta Point. There is also a manta night swim that launches from the beach.

Night mowing
Poor ability to control night noise levels. Tractor mowers on golf course waking everyone up at 4.30am . Complaints were treated with contempt and told it was for the golfers!!!!! Same again next night. Hotel guests obviously don't rate like the golfers

Family Photos at Mauna Kea
We used the hotel's photography service to capture photos of the 3 generations of our family. Our photographer Ryan Easton was fantastic - especially great with kids (even came ready with bubbles) and patient with everyone. The editing and turnaround was so fast and ready the next day. Great experience and the photos turned out great!

Superb
This is one of my favorite hotels in the world. It is kept up very well. The restaurants are all beautiful, although we spent most of our evenings at the copper bar.. we had a quarter suite which made it better than usual, I suppose. It it’s nice that you don’t have to fight for a chair with shade on the beach. I found the bodysurfing to be excellent, although a bit dangerous due to locals with their surfboards.
