Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong

We had a fantastic experience at Shangri-La Kowloon during our recent trip to Hong Kong - it was just a one night stay while we flew through Hong Kong but we will definitely be back. After booking, we were offered a discounted upgrade to the Horizon Suite, which we gladly accepted—and it was well worth it. The gifts for the kids (and chocolate for the parents) were wonderful and gave our kids something to do once we got there. The suite was spacious and beautifully appointed. The team even brought in a second bed for our son, which made the stay especially comfortable for our family. The Horizon Club Lounge was smaller than the one at Qiantan (this was our 4th Shangri-La stay as Circle Members), but the service was top-notch and the food was excellent. It was a peaceful place to relax and enjoy personalized attention from the staff. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary breakfast buffet, which was expansive and delicious—definitely a big bonus for a traveling family. The entire staff was kind, professional, and consistently went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our favorite part (besides the delicious food), was the special Shangri-La coins for the kids to use on the "claw" games in the buffet restaurant. The hotel itself is stunning, with elegant decor and a prime location just steps from the subway station, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. We truly enjoyed our stay and will absolutely return to Shangri-La Kowloon the next time we’re in Hong Kong. Highly recommended!

Kowloon Shangri-La’s Horizon Club is truly one of the finest hotel lounges among Hong Kong’s top-tier offerings. The service is consistently attentive and friendly, and the food and beverage selection is excellent—ranging from breakfast and afternoon bites to cocktails accompanied by a wide array of delicious nibbles. The panoramic view of Victoria Harbour is simply priceless. A special shout-out to the Horizon Club team for making our stay seamless and enjoyable: Hayden, Max, Buddy, Cattie, Janis, Jessica, Kit, Niki, Elisa, Wing, Hebe, and Tony. We’d also like to extend our thanks to Simon from the concierge team, who always greeted us with a warm smile and was impressively knowledgeable about everything we needed to know.

We just stayed at Shangri-La Kowloon for a family birthday celebration, and the staff blew us away with their thoughtfulness! Every detail was handled with such genuine care. Highlights that made us feel special: ➤ Connected our (separately-booked) rooms seamlessly. ➤ Surprised us with birthday cakes in BOTH rooms for our two guests. ➤ SAM at reception (thank you!) noticed we’d missed Horizon Club upgrades (hotel was packed, our fault for asking last-minute !), and gave us complimentary lounge access Then, at the Horizon Lounge: ➤ TONY, JANIS & TEAM saw our celebration notes and spontaneously set up custom birthday plates. ➤ They took group photos, printed them on the spot, and added handwritten notes (One guest was literally moved to tears!) ➤ Even our two young kids were spoiled: toys, drinks, and playful chats that made them feel so welcome. Yes, the perfect TST location, breath-taking skyline views, amazing breakfast, and rooms are stellar (as other reviews mention). But what amazes us is Shangri-La's CONSISTENCY. While other brands vary by location, every Shangri-La delivers true omotenashi (anticipating needs before we ask). As parents with young kids, this level of thoughtfulness and attention is priceless. I came here several times for business and family trips also. Strategic place, warm and helpful staff, magnificent view. One of the best in HK and my kids love this hotel
