Excellent Hotel

Wedding Night + Anniversary Celebration at Shangri-La!
Kowloon Shangri-La is amazing. The first time I stayed here was for the night before my wedding night, and the night of my wedding as well. I have stayed a night just recently to celebrate the 1 Year Anniversary of my wedding, in the same suite. The staff went the distance to make our anniversary special, including but not limited to greeting us upon our arrival, decorating our room, and arranging a special photo to keep as a memento to name a few things. I am also a fan of their interiors, which has an oriental feel to go with their mainly western design choices. The Christmas Tree and decor at this time of year is so lovely too, their lobby smelling faintly of gingerbread. The room and bathroom was perfectly clean, and despite being close to a main road, no noise from outside penetrates the windows, which I am sure must be double glazed. Oh, and the automatic curtains are a nice touch. Last thing- The Carbonara for room service was GREAT. THANK YOU!

The highlight of my stay at Kowloon Shangri-la is the excellent team at the Horizon Club. It was a busy time of year with streams of demanding patrons but the team was patient, professional, warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Mr Tony - brilliant young man with a heart for the hospitality industry.
