Sheraton Grand Krakow

The Sheraton Grand deserves more than 5 stars. It's not just about the fabulous location with views of Wawel Castle and the Vistula River. It's the fabulous service, breakfast, and club access that makes it the best option in Kraków. We stayed in a corner deluxe suite right across from the Sheraton Club on the first floor. It was so convenient for us. We're early risers, and it's so nice to be able to just walk across the hall for coffee, tea, juice, and fruit. We also visited that lounge in the evening on a daily basis. The hot snacks served there are more like a meal. We had some delicious polish soups, pork meatballs, grilled chicken, and pasta dishes. The apple pie there is absolutely delicious. There were different desserts each day, and the staff were great in keeping the serving area clean and with their knowledge of wines. It was a great way to end the day. The breakfast bar and kitchen service were great. They cook your eggs to order and make omelets. There was always some kind of Mediterranean or Asian side dish available as well as traditional Polish sausage, breads, and pastries. The crisp vegetable samosas or crispy wonton bites were my favorite sides along with the grilled mushrooms and crispy hash browns. The buffet had just about everything. The fruit was fresh. More so than any buffet I've ever been to. I wish I had taken a picture of the watermelon. Our room was the perfect size for the two of us. It was very comfortable and clean. I was very happy with the water pressure in the shower, as well as the storage space. The air conditioning also worked well. No issues with accommodations whatsoever. The service was fantastic! My husband remembered how well they treated him when visiting back in 2002. That's why he recommended we stay here. He was so right. I wish I could name everyone on the staff. The ones we remember the most are Alicia and Peter. They were always so helpful and nice, but everyone was great. We wouldn't hesitate in booking this hotel again if we ever make it back to Kraków. It was such a great experience from beginning to end.

We were in Kraków to celebrate our 35th anniversary and stayed at the Sheraton grand a beautiful hotel with fabulous staff. Justiyna was fantastic. She helped to get tickets to the salt mines and give us any information that would be helpful for our tour. When we came back from our tour, she brought us two vouchers for drinks up at the beautiful rooftop bar to celebrate our 35th anniversary. we are titanium members and use the lounge as much as possible when at our stay, the food in the lounge was exquisite, and the lounge staff was fabulous in particular was Ali he made sure that we had everything we needed and was a fantastic conversationalist as well. He gave us a lot of tips on what to look for while we were there and what places to eat. If or when we go back, we definitely will be staying at the Sheraton Grand!

5 stars in any service utilized during my staying in this amazing hotel located in front of Wisla river with a fantastic view of Wawel Kraków’s Castle. To be remarked the Roof Terrace Restaurant and Bar : compliments to the staff and the chef. Rarely I found such professional service and excellent food in any choice me and wife decided. Thanks again, we will surely come back and suggest to all our contacts.

How does one describe a truly memorable stay in a hotel without appearing to be biased? It was truly our pleasure to stay at the Sheraton Grand in Krakow. Our contact with the hotel started a week before our arrival, when I was in correspondence with Monica over email, and she suggested the Pod Różą and the Szara Gęś w Kuchni restaurants. We have dined in both of them and they are truly fine dining experiences as promised by Monica. Our welcome when we checked into the Sheraton was outstanding. We arrived early, but reception stored our luggage and gave us early access to the Club Lounge. Our room was upgraded to a lovely Executive Room with river view, which was amazing and we continued to have access to the Club Lounge throughout our stay. The Sheraton is an outstanding hotel with extensive facilities. Anima in the ground floor atrium is a very good restaurant. The hotel also has a truly magical rooftop bar and restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating and views to die for. The hotel also includes a sports bar which I did not experience, most probably my loss. I did park in the hotel car park - very nice and easy access and a secure location, and we did try the spa facilities. I cannot comment about the Sheraton Grand without speaking also about its outstanding people. Piotr was always happy to help us, Katarzyna was always very informative and helpful. Many other people were amazing to us and really were the cherry on the cake in our stay. Your people - the entire team - are truly a credit to you and are the one factor that sets your hotel apart from all the rest. I also don’t wish to simply focus on the outstanding service we received from the reception and concierge staff - I appreciate that a hotel experience is the result of great teamwork by people who are visible and others who are equally important but not visible by the guests. We simply cannot think of any one single time when we wished for something and it was not immediately available with a smile. I am going to be a regular guest at the Sheraton in Krakow.
