A very good hotel. Everything and everyone were so kind and helpful. Food was good, go for their Nasi Lemak. Will visit again in future.

My wife and I stayed at KULPH during late Dec 25 to early Jan 26, and overall, it was an excellent and memorable experience. It is one that truly reflects the promise of “Your Home in the Sky”. As a new hotel, KULPH already shines in many areas, and with a few refinements, it has the potential to become one of the finest Park Hyatts globally. People Who Made Our Stay Special Hospitality is ultimately about people, and we would like to sincerely thank several team members who made our stay warm and meaningful: 1. Front Desk Faiq - for thoughtfully arranging our dinner on the first night, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. 2. Merdeka Grill Kris Yau, Outlet Manager - consistently attentive and professional, with a genuine passion for sharing thoughtful menu recommendations. We will not forget the many conversations we had with you; your warmth, presence, and sincere hospitality became a defining signature of our stay at KULPH. Jia Jun - for warm service and genuine conversations at our table, which added a personal touch to our dining experience. 3. Park Lounge Matt Mutjahid, Exec Sous Chef - thank you for the personal recommendations, especially the kaya toast, which became a highlight of our mornings. Jonah, Qusyairi and Adil - for consistently excellent and friendly service. We enjoyed 5 wonderful breakfasts at Park Lounge, and the team there truly deserves recognition for their warmth. What KULPH Does Exceptionally Well (Pros) 1. Young, earnest team: While some inexperience shows in interactions, it is clear the staff are genuinely trying their best - and that effort matters. With time and mentorship, this team will be a strong asset. 2. Peaceful yet well-connected location: Away from the bustle of Bukit Bintang and KLCC, yet accessible. Merdeka MRT station is a short walk away, making movement around the city easy. 3. Cultural Proximity: Chinatown and Central Market are just a stone’s throw away, offering easy access to heritage, food, and local colour. 4. Unrivalled Views: Being located in currently the 2nd tallest building in the world, the commanding views of KL are breathtaking and unmatched by other hotels in the city. 5. Great for runners and fitness enthusiasts: Stadium Merdeka is right next door - a rare and excellent park for guests who enjoy running (subject to public access timings) 6. Muslim-friendly considerations: A mosque within the Merdeka 118 grounds is a thoughtful and welcome convenience for Muslim guests. Thoughtful Areas for Improvements (Cons / Considerations) These points are shared constructively, with the hope that KULPH will continue to evolve and fully embody the Park Hyatt brand worldwide: 1. Pre-arrival personalisation: It would elevate the experience if the hotel reached out before arrival to understand the purpose of the stay - whether a birthday, anniversary or special celebration. Currently, the pre-arrival email focuses mainly on stay confirmation. Personal touches at this stage would make a meaningful difference. 2. In-room check-in experience: At the Park Hyatt level, in-room check-in could be offered. We experienced this at Park Hyatt Bangkok, where guests are escorted directly to their rooms and formalities are completed there - a wonderfully personal and refined touch. 3. Personalised service consistency: Park Hyatt is known for refined design, premium locations, and personalised service. Of these, personalised service is the area that still needs refinement. This is understandable for a new hotel, but if left unaddressed, it may dilute the KULPH identity over time. 4. Welcome amenities: The Kelantan 70% dark chocolate placed on the dining table in the room did not quite make a lasting impression. A more thoughtful welcome gesture such as fresh fruits, artisanal sweets or a small curated amenity either upon arrival or at check-in would better reflect Park Hyatt standards and create a stronger first impression. 5. Check-in seating: Even if check-in is done at the front desk, guests should ideally be seated rather than standing. Comfortable seating already exists in the lobby on the 75th floor and could be better utilised, especially given the hotel’s premium price point. Final Thoughts KULPH is already a beautiful property with exceptional views, a promising young team, and a strong foundation. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and we would happily return.

The hotel seems not fully operating yet. Level 114 under renovation. Pretty understaffed. Took ~30mins to have our luggage sent to our room after checking in. There are better 5 stars hotel in KL.

Spent one night at Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, which is definitely too short! Arrival felt effortless and refined, with a warm sense of hospitality from the very start. As I arrived before check-in time and the room was understandably not yet ready, I headed to Merdeka Grill for lunch - an excellent way to begin the stay. The service was attentive and the quality of the food was outstanding, with the Lobster Bisque being a clear standout -rich and comforting. The room was beautifully designed with a generous layout, offering a wonderful sense of space and comfort, not to mention a spectacular view from high above! I spent some relaxing time by the pool and also enjoyed some me-time in the jacuzzi, a perfect way to ease into the experience and truly switch off. The entire experience was made even more enjoyable by the warm hospitality of Hakimi and Jasmita. Breakfast was equally impressive. I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Ariff, who personally prepared the tosai for me and served it with my preferred curry base. It was one of those small yet meaningful gestures that truly elevate a stay from great to exceptional. Overall, it was a thoroughly memorable stay and I am already making plans to return!

it is a wonderful experience to stay on the 104 floor, seeing clouds outside my room. The design of the room is very elegant and atas but closer look already show wear and tear when the hotel is barely one year old. i love the swimming pool and spa area on the 99th floor, it is wonderful to swim with the clouds. Breakfast food was delicious and plentiful, some staff give exceptional service while another just doesn't seem to care. the hotel need to work with Merdeka MRT station to have direction signage to the hotel. i like the underground carpark had a linkway to the local tourist area, so it doesn't feel so remote. i guess once the mall is ready, the place will get more lively.
