Beautiful hotel in a quiet area of Kyoto!
The hotel is a typical Hyatt Regency atmosphere. The rooms were very comfortable. The staff was amazing, so very supportive! The food was delicious - breakfast & dinner. There are many local restaurants close by also. The hotel is a bit removed from central Kyoto, but the metro is very close or you can take a quick 7 min taxi ride for about US$4-$6 to central Kyoto area. I would definitely consider this hotel again for my next trip to Kyoto!

Very relaxing place to stay in Kyoto.
Very nice hotel. The room was very spacious, being broken up into a bedroom area away from a living room area. Nice bathrobes and slippers for our use. Lighting in the room was a little difficult to figure out (or I’m just getting old…could never find the switch for the light by the front door). Good room service. Staff was very professional. Were able to store our luggage with the hotel after we check out while we went on a tour of Kyoto.

Perfect place to stay in Kyoto
Overall very good experience, to start with free taxi service from Kyoto Station to hotel, staffs were attentive and helpful, upgrade our stay the next day when available as I am a globalist. Good spread of breakfast, serving japanese and western. You may even choose a breakfast course from their menu. Bus station is just 200 m away, making travel Kyoto a breeze. Highly recommended.

Exceptional customer service
Everything perfect as you would expect from a top class hotel in Japan. What made this hotel stand out from all the others is the outstanding customer service. One person in particular is truly exceptional. His name is Dennis and he works in customer service department. Extremely helpful at all times and goes out of his way to make sure you are happy with the hotel . A true professional who could teach staff back in UK how to treat guests
