Fantastic stay at Six Senses Laamu. The resort is beautiful and has an excellent range or restaurants and actiivites to keep entertained. Our guest manager Riq was fantastic. He arranged all of our activities and went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday special, organising a private dinner in the wine room. It was a great exerience and we will definitely return.

Six Senses Laamu is an incredible resort for people who want unobtrusive service, a Robinson Crusoe lifestyle, internationally varied cuisine and incredibly friendly staff. Vienne was always there for us when we needed her. We were thrilled and will be back.

We visited Six Senses Laamu in October 2025 as a family of four (with two children aged 13 and 10), and it was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The snorkelling and diving were incredible – we saw so much marine life right off our water villa, including turtles, colourful fish, and even a few rays. The kids absolutely loved being able to jump straight into the ocean and explore every day. The food was outstanding, with plenty of variety and beautifully fresh ingredients. Every meal felt special, and there were always great options for the whole family. A huge thank-you to our GEM, Veronica, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble – she made everything effortless and personal. Six Senses Laamu manages to combine luxury, sustainability, and warmth in a way few resorts do. We left feeling relaxed, inspired, and already planning our return

An amazing experience, the resort, location and staff were superb. The mainly Maldivian staff were so friendly, helpful & engaging - nothing was too much trouble. The food menus were extensive and the cooking was brilliant. The facilities were great, brilliant overwater Villa, well equipped watersports centre, snorkeling from your villa and the Six Senses trade mark ‘free’ ice cream shop with more flavours than you could count. 10/10 Perfect paradise - the Six Senses GEM’s (Guest Experience Managers) just go that bit further than other resorts to make your stay exceptional.

This is our sixth trip to Laamu and each time it surpasses the last. The island is truly special and made even more so by the care and warmth of the Six Senses team from our GEM Janko who managed to organise a screening of our favourite film La La Land in the Jungle cinema on our last night to the DIve Team with Ann and Danny who made my first and second dive experience so amazing. The entire hospitality team and serving staff are incredible - warm, friendly and a joy to chat to some of when we have been lucky enough to know for 8 years. I think what makes the team extra special is that the majority are local islanders with father, mothers, wives, brothers, sisters and children that we share experiences with. The dining is incredibly good and rivals the cuisine you will find in Michelin starred London restaurants - Zen and Leaf in particular are not to miss. Before finishing this review I have to talk about the spa and wellness team - if you need a rejuvenating break there is nowhere better - the massages are out of this world and daily sunset and sunrise yoga is not only beautiful outdoor on the beach but also incredibly grounding and de-stressing. I literally had tears in my eyes this morning on leaving the island - thank you to everyone on the team and we will see you soon. I will be booking for next year once we land in London!
