Six Senses Laamu

We were blown away by the service at Six Senses. Every staff member seemed to know who we were, our favourite drinks, and what we’d been up to that day. Hasan, Hishan, and our GEM Janko were fantastic, always checking in to make sure we were having the best time (which we always were!). Despite being UK half-term and many families being present, the team did a great job maintaining a romantic atmosphere for couples. The ocean view pool villas were gorgeous and provided a lot of outdoor space, privacy, and protection from wind. The dining options provide so much variety, with new menus every day so there is always something new to try. The ice cream parlour is a must try, with so many flavours to sample as many times a day as you like. Between marine biology talks and tours, the spa, the incredible dining options, and the stunning sea we barely stopped moving! Some of the highlights were kayaking through the mangroves, watching a turtle nest hatch, and swimming around the house reef with the most gorgeous fish, turtles, and yes, sharks! We both agreed we will 100% return to Six Senses Laamu, and I absolutely recommend it to anyonelooking for a really unique and spoiling experience.

Our sister trip to Six Senses Laamu was pure magic. From the start, our GEM, Fahudh, made us feel completely cared for with his attentive and non-intrusive service. The focus on nature is fantastic: we loved turtle spotting from our villa and our snorkeling trips with the incredible marine biology team. Huge thanks to Fi and Abbie for making the ocean educational. The food was a consistent taste sensation—diverse, delicious, healthy, and great for dietary needs (the sea creature pancakes were so fun too!). The F&B Director was particularly welcoming, generous and made sure we had everything we needed. We learned so much from Lawrence on the fascinating sustainability tour. The entire experience—the spa, the beach, the yoga, the food—was special. We felt thoroughly looked after and highly recommend!

Chamoli was an excellent bartender who made world-class cocktails for us. Rayan was very friendly and attentive, who was an amazing host who made sure we had the best time. Thank you Six Senses Laamu team!

The place is like heaven, seems to be appart from everywhere, everything is placed where it is suppose to in order to make your experience unforgettable. The room was very spacious and clean, everything was very quiet and there was not too many people. no waiting lines... There are a lot of activities and the food was really good. Special mention to Vienne, who arrange everything to be perfect from the very beggining!

Fantastic stay at Six Senses Laamu. The resort is beautiful and has an excellent range or restaurants and actiivites to keep entertained. Our guest manager Riq was fantastic. He arranged all of our activities and went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday special, organising a private dinner in the wine room. It was a great exerience and we will definitely return.
