Proposed there and it was absolutely magical. Jorden and her staff made the moment absolutely breathtaking. Cannot thank them enough! They were professional and friendly and accommodating. They helped organize the proposal and made arrangements with all the vendors as well as room reservations. It was incredibly easy.

The Montage Laguna Beach is an idyllic resort for a family getaway. We snuck out of a town for my husband's birthday with our toddlers and were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. Every member of staff at the Montage was so incredibly engaging and lovely with our children, whether it was a quick conversation walking down the hallway, or chatting away with them as they splashed away in the kids' pool. The kids had a magical time, which was just wonderful for us as parents to enjoy. Aside from the attention to the kids, the service was top tier throughout. Every interaction we had seemed genuinely warm, friendly, and engaging. We travel often and it's common to feel that people engage (understandably) in sort of a "checklist" of pro forma questions with guests. Here, however, every interaction felt like an honest conversation, where everyone was paying attention to what you were saying. It was quite remarkable and refreshing. The resort itself is pristine and beautifully landscaped. You won't have a bad view no matter your room's location. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained with plush beds and plenty of soft pillows. We also found them to be very quiet, we couldn't hear anything from any neighboring room beside, below or above us. The food and beverage prices are what you would expect of a resort of this caliber, but I found the quality of the food and cocktails (even poolside) to be very high and delicious. And don't miss out on the s'mores. You can get your kit and roast marshmallows at any time by ordering from in-room dining and going to the fire pit, or they offer a complimentary s'mores kit from 5-6 (time might vary depending on the season) by one of the fire pits everyday. The Montage is high quality and worth every dime. I was there on a business trip and can't wait to bring my family. There is something for everyone to do, the location is amazing. The staff treats everyone special and the rooms were incredible.

The beds are amazing. The rooms are immaculate. The Suite was plenty of space for wife and I. The Starfish restaurant across the street is highly recommended if you need to leave the property. Getting a massage or pedicure is a must. Look forward to other Montage properties in the future!
