"Wow" is a great word for the start of this review - - Jeff at the front desk is the epitome of hospitality, and all resorts should strive to the level of professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency with which we were greeted upon arrival. And that level of service was maintained throughout our stay. Mel, the bellman, was knowledgable and helpful beyond the usual brief dump the suitcases and run. The grounds are lovely and exquisitely maintained. Staff throughout the resort were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, lovely, and updated and we had a great view with the sound of the ocean. The room was also super clean. The pool area is clean, the temperature of the pool water was perfect for me, and that area is also well maintained. The other pools are undergoing renovations, so both resorts were sharing the large pool area. Though the open chairs were not plentiful, the pool area itself was so spacious that swimming was still great. We had a great stay, and we plan to return!

Another great stay at the Hyatt . Lovely room , pool area , restaurants and staff make this my favourite hotel . This is my 6th it 7th visit to the Hyatt and will be my only hotel of choice in Maui . Special recognition to the staff at the Umalu bar by the pool who made the days so enjoyable, Alona, Rob and Andy make the bar ! Can't wait to be back at the Hyatt again next year !

From the time you enter the atrium lobby that is spectacular to opening the door of a wonderful renovated room, the experience at the Hyatt Regency Maui is truly special. It is worth spending a few extra dollars because the property is situated right on the water, the staff/service is fantastic and the dining experience at Japengo is amazing. My wife and I cannot wait to go back with the rest of our family. Thank you to the entire Hyatt staff!

great stay was amazing the whole week we stayed there, they were very helpful overall and very happy staying there.

We are from Oahu and only had a 1 night stay on Maui so weren’t sure if this would feel like a great vacation but we are so glad we went. It felt like every worker here truly loves their job and went out of their way to make it a pleasant experience for us. I would recommend eating food off the resort instead of by the pool, as the local foods and drinks were just so much better and less expensive however other than that we had an amazing time!
