About the Hotel

Memorable stay
Thank you to the team, and especially to Vivienne, for making my stay at Bürgenstock truly wonderful. The rooms and outlets are excellent, and the attention to detail throughout the resort is really remarkable. What stands out most, however, is the genuine hospitality of the entire team. Best resort in the world!
The Burgenstock Resort and Alpine Spa exceeds all expectations. The spa is magnificent- truly, words cannot describe. The level of personalized service needs to be experienced to be understood - at another level! The staff are engaging, friendly, helpful and kind. You can immediately tell that this hotel is exceptionally well managed. Simply an outstanding experience, without flaw. Bravo! 👏 👏

New Year's Evening stay: a major disappointment
We spent three nights in the hotel (Dec 30-Jan 2), looking forward to a great year-end experience as per the hotel's advertisement. On the positive side, our room was both cosy and very functional with great views of the lake. And the spa in all its dimensions was truly enjoyable, as to be expected for a 5-star plus level hotel. Unfortunately, our experience with the event on New Year's Eve was not at all in line with the gold standard you would expect from the Buergenstock hotel group. First, the limited selection and the quality of the food provided for dinner were average at best. And the Galaxy party itself was a bummer, with an average band that motivated only a small part of the guests to dance. By 12:45 am, most of the guests had left the main room and we called it a night not much later. On top of that, when we showed up for breakfast in the mornings about one hour before closure, the selection of food was drastically reduced (e.g., salads, fruits). You get much better offerings from other 5-star hotels in the Lake Lucerne region... This was our second trip to the Buergenstock hotels and different to last time we left frustrated and disappointed with our overall experience.
