Very perfect for family travelers and very enjoyable with sightseeing and environmental friendly so I definitely would recommend for everyone to come and visit

I'm ever so so grateful for the free upgrade to an immaculate, spacious suite. I truly appreciate how my friend's bedroom was de-feathered due to her allergy. The decor was elegant and stylish, but also functional and convenient - love the discrete power sockets at the dressing table; power sockets and USB charging slots on both sides of the bed. comfy pillows and bed; ice cubes in the fridge for the hot weather, many chilled bottled water in the fridges in the bedrooms and kitchen. The toiletries were divine. I live abroad, and in recent years, I try to do short trips to local destinations during my annual 3+-week holiday when I'm in Malaysia. I'm proud of the standard and quality of the service provided in a hotel in Malaysia. This is also possibly the first hotel in Malaysia, where I would highly commend on the quality food served at Planter's (where I had breakfast) and The Terrace. Both local and western dishes were executed to a high standard, i.e. soft runny poached eggs, tasty rending and nasi lemak sambal at Planter's, perfect flat white with oat milk as requested; juicy, tender and flavoursome beef cheeks and perfectly gooey-centred chocolate lava cake (chocolate fondant to me) at The Terrace. The scrub and massage at the spa was so relaxing, and the staff was so understanding, accommodating and flexible with my appointment as I had 2 tours earlier in the day arranged by the concierge; the unesco mangrove tour and the island hopping. I wished I had stayed longer in Langkawi, and explored the hotel a bit more, thank you for making my stay so wonderful and memorable.

The Danna, is a super place to stay and get away from it all. The service is great, staff friendly, helpful but in intrusive. Nice spacious rooms with everything you need provided. The pool and beach areas are lovely places to chill out and relax. Had some super meals in the Terrace restaurant and Cocktails in the bar. To relax and recharge the batteries this is a place to go. Look forward to returning in the future.

stayed here for 8 nights towards the end of a busy holiday taking in singapore, cambodia and thailand and the danna in langkowi proved to be the perfect place to relax and recharge before returning to the uk. it would be difficult to imagine a more perfect setting - the hotel is amazing and excellent value for money. the pool and beach area is the nicest i’ve ever seen. plenty of sunbeds and plenty of shade available should you want it. yes the hotel is a little on its own which does mean meal options are limited to the hotel unless you want to take a (very reasonably priced ) taxi further afield but the buffet and al la carte are excellent value with lots of choice - the chef even asked if there was anything special he could get in for us - so one night we both had some beautifully cooked salmon brought in just for us. Which leads me onto the staff - from the driver who collected from the airport, to the welcoming check in - from the cleaning staff to the waiting staff - everyone is always on hand to help and is cheerful and pleasant at all times. The Danna is a wonderful hotel with great facilities and even better staff.

Oh The Danna, Where do I start? First the pickup at the airport was so nice. The check in was great. We were shown around and to our room, that was a little overwhelming because there is a lot to go over. All the restaurants and their hours. But don't think you have to remember it all. There is a bar code in your room that has all the info. I wish I could name everyone in my review, because everyone was so wonderful. I mean everyone. All restaurant staff, pool staff, laundry staff, ect... Also see my review on my spa experience under the spa at The Danna. All the food was just incredible, drinks were awesome and pool was great. We had our laundry done and they did an amazing job. We also had the afternoon tea in the Verandah which was just great . Shout out to Iliana who was a college intern working at the Verandah who was just so sweet, and became a quick friend. Here is just a few of the other awesome people that made our week wonderful Hazwan, Sevid , Fathihah, and Hozeifa. I wish I would have written down everyones names because like I said they were ALL incredible. Highly recommend this resort, and I hope to come back. Also want to mention the work out room is great too. This is a relaxing place, there are some water activities and also an island close by you can visit. We mainly stayed around the resort and relaxed by the pool. Also take a ride to the Cable car, its fantastic.
