Twenty-six of the fifty largest hotels in the world are in Las Vegas. Why, then, is The Cromwell Las Vegas causing such a stir? Clocking in at just 188 rooms, it stands in the shadows of neighboring Bellagio, Caesars Palace and Bally’s. And that is exactly why it’s so appealing to guests seeking the intimate, refined experience of a boutique hotel right in the throbbing heart of the Vegas Strip. There’s a touch of a vintage bordello feel to the hotel, accentuated by leather headboards, vampy damask wallpaper and classic showgirl sketches.

To begin with, my room was not cleaned properly during the day, and there was no soap provided: security seal on lotion broken. Only two hours into sleep, a fire broke out on the premises, forcing an evacuation. While I understand that emergencies happen, the response and support provided were disorganized and minimal. At no point did I feel assured that safety protocols were being managed with the level of competence expected from an establishment operating under the Caesars name. Beyond my room, issues were evident throughout the casino as well—security presence was minimal, staff seemed overwhelmed, and operations appeared chaotic at best. It is hard to believe this property is part of the Caesars portfolio. The entire experience was not only inconvenient but deeply unsettling.

We enjoyed our stay at the Cromwell. Cute boutique hotel and casino. We especially enjoyed our time in the casino bar. Angelina was a fabulous hostess and took great care of us.

Don’t go if you are looking for pool access or to use your reward points. I was told no to both amenities. The pool is not owned by the hotel and guest have 1 hour of access to the pool on the weekends from 12pm to 1pm. When temperatures are over 100deg access should not be limited to guest considering the conditions.

Came here on a friend’s recommendation and we were hooked. Love the cozy, personal feel you get, the cool decor…and Derek (& his crew) were by far the best bartenders we’ve had! So friendly and fun! It really made the trip!

Lovely "boutique" hotel. Good number of slot machines on floor without feeling crowded. It sounds like the machines are paying off pretty regularly (or at least triggering bonuses!) Servers are SUPER responsive and friendly. We stopped in on two different days and the servers remembered our drink orders. Quick "to-go" food options are a bit limited in-house (Starbucks only.) There is an "ok'ish" food court right next door in Flamingo - maybe a 5 minute walk.
