About the Hotel

Twenty-six of the fifty largest hotels in the world are in Las Vegas. Why, then, is The Cromwell Las Vegas causing such a stir? Clocking in at just 188 rooms, it stands in the shadows of neighboring Bellagio, Caesars Palace and Bally’s. And that is exactly why it’s so appealing to guests seeking the intimate, refined experience of a boutique hotel right in the throbbing heart of the Vegas Strip. There’s a touch of a vintage bordello feel to the hotel, accentuated by leather headboards, vampy damask wallpaper and classic showgirl sketches.

If you actually want to sleep, don't book!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 22 hours ago

Paid for a room and then can't sleep until 4am after the nightclub stops. Whole room shakes from the bass. I thought a 5-star hotel would have some kind of sound insulation. I'd avoid this place unless you're part of the party until the early hours.

Mini bar charges scam

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

We were fraudulently charged over $400 in mini bar charges and the hotel billing department refused to help. They even went as far as to claim the removal of the products was confirmed. This is a complete and costly scam. Avoid them at all costs.

Worst hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Billed as a 'boutique' hotel..Worst hotel on the strip. Pool chairs have to be bought unless you want to sit in the sun. Can of beer at the pool $15. Coffee machine in the room but no coffee. TV remote broken. Noise level in all areas is loud. Wifi is slow. Front desk people are friendly.

Good stay but be aware the pool is not theirs!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

So check in with Adoria was not nice, she was very unwelcoming, unfriendly, coming off as very rude, gave us no information about the hotel or how to get to our room. Just looked annoyed and did'nt care about us! Thankfully the next day had a lovely supervisor at reception called Gavin who helped us with everything, was amazing, friendly, so helpful and could'nt do enough for us. Thankyou Gavin! Apparently management are aware of Adoria's attitude and are dealing with it! They need to, it really gives a bad first impression of the hotel! to be fair did'nt see her the rest of our stay so hope she's gone!! The rooms are nice and plush, i like the style of them. Strong smell of bleach when we checked in so they need to look at that but nice and clean. Shower very good, bed very comfy. has a safe, hairdryer and iron with an ironing board so is all good. the fridge is full of drinks and stuff which is such a shame as would've been lovely to have a fridge you could put water and breakfast stuff in. I would recommend the hotel do this as no one drinks the expensive drinks anyway! The fact the pool was not owned by the hotel and you had to pay hundreds of dollars for a cabana to go was very disappointing as one of the big reasons choose to go there was the pool! you can go between 11am-12pm for free once a day. but we never managed to get there! they really need to put this on everywhere you can book the hotel as is a real negative! you can go to flamingo and ceasers pool but not the same! It's a nice small hotel which we preferred, bar staff very nice, great location even though a bit noisy. Would've stayed again its just the pool!

Crazy Bad Experience!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Crazy Bad Experience! Got bumped from Horseshoe, having reserved well in advance with Diamond Status. After a 12 hour drive from Texas with a 3 year old in tow, having unloaded at Valet, I was told my room "request" (which is total BS, it's a reservation, NOT a request) was unavailable. Packed back up the car & toddler - now crying - drove over to the Cromwell. VALET - CLOSED, BELL DESK - CLOSED.... They would not accommodate our 3 night reservation at Cromwell & just move us there, but that turned out to be for the BEST. After LUGGING all our bags up, self-parking at a fee, & pushing a crying baby through a Casino I would NEVER take a child into, we finally got into the room. ahhhh...the room!!! Dropped a cup on the floor, rolled under the bed...nudged the bed over to get it easier and saw about 2 years worth of dust, garbage, & a joint. Good thing the baby was asleep & didn't wake up and grab that before I saw it. Housekeeping brought extra towels and helped me clean it up, but it still smelled funky in the room. My baby coughed throughout the night and then vomited on my in the morning - having not been sick at all. SERIOUSLY disgusting room - yes, I have pics and video. Will NEVER book at HORSESHOE or CROMWELL & may just move over to MGM in light of this experience. Caesars clearly wanted to make more $$$ on my reservation for the first night and saw fit to bump me out. Also, was charged $62 for who knows what and I have to go deal with that tomorrow. I was told I could put my meds in the fridge, but maybe a soda moved and charged my CC...or maybe they think all the dirty towels was my fault and charged me...NOPE, your fault CW. :/ Even when I spoke to the Diamond desk they offered no compensation and no resolution. If I make a reservation CAESARS ENTERTAINMENT, honor it!!
