I had higher expectations for the W Hotel, but several aspects of my stay were frustrating and disappointing. First, it felt incredibly inconsiderate that the in-room fridge was completely stocked with overpriced alcohol and water, leaving no space to store anything of my own. It's clearly designed to push sales rather than offer convenience to guests. The hallways constantly smelled like cigarette smoke or marijuana. The smell was overwhelming at times and gave me headaches on at least three different occasions. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected better air quality and enforcement of non-smoking policies. I also attempted to book a cabana online, but the hotel’s website was down for an extended period. By the time I was finally able to make the reservation, the price had jumped by $50. When we did get the cabana—at $575—I expected at least a semi-private, relaxing experience. Instead, there were people constantly wandering into our area to take photos of the pool, standing right in front of our chairs. The setup was nearly identical to the general pool area in terms of access and space, so I truly don’t understand what the extra charge was for besides a towel and a nameplate. To top it all off, the in-room hairdryer actually burned my hair, which caused damage and made me late for dinner while trying to fix the mess. For the premium price point and branding, the W Hotel should offer a far more polished and guest-focused experience. Unfortunately, this stay left me disappointed and unlikely to return.

Thanks for making our stay such a great experience. We have stayed at the Mandalay bay previously several times but really enjoyed the rooms at the W. We stayed in 2 Queen suite and room was perfect for our 3 day stay. Very impressed with cleanliness of the room and amenities. Staff is friendly and was able to see the Michael Jackson show. Check in and check out process was a breeze. Sharing the pools at the Mandalay was great but staying at the W was fantastic. Both adult and family friendly hotel and location is perfect. Would definitely recommend to anyone

Was another good stay at the now rebranded hotel. Have stayed here every year for the past five years but like everything in Vegas the costs are only going up more and more. The rooms are good but will be interesting to see what they do with the rebrand as there are signs of some wear and tear but hope it does not lose the old Delano charm to become to much of a W. If you are okay with the south end of the stirp this takes quite a bit of beating and the on site areas such as the polls are great.

Our family stayed at the W Las Vegas at the end of July into early August 2025, and our experience was a mixed bag. The lobby was a highlight, with a pleasant ambiance and nice scents, a refreshing contrast to the smoky casino environment. We were comped a two-room suite and an additional premier two-queen room to accommodate our family, which was appreciated. However, the "two-bedroom suite" was just two connected rooms, not quite what we expected. The beds were the standout—extremely comfortable and easily the best part of our stay. However, the experience was marred by several issues. Despite requesting early check-in, our rooms weren’t ready until 4 PM, which was frustrating. The rooms were also on separate floors, which was inconvenient for our family. On top of that, our initial room had noisy neighbors partying and playing loud music all night, forcing the hotel to relocate us to another room. The parking garage was another headache. It was nearly impossible to find a spot, especially after they blocked off the entire third floor halfway through our stay due to nearby sporting events. If you’re visiting during events in the area, plan ahead and be prepared for parking challenges. Overall, while the staff was accommodating and the beds were fantastic, the delayed check-in, room issues, and parking chaos made this stay less enjoyable than expected. I’d recommend the W Las Vegas for its comfortable rooms and nice lobby but advise caution during busy event periods.

Terrible service. Room was large, but took ages to check in, no Bonvoy status recognition, charges for everything including using the keurig machine in the room (with no indication of what will be charged). Can't reach service staff at all as they never answer the phone. Definitely would never return.
