W Las Vegas (formerly Delano Hotel), is my home away from home. As a loyal MGM Reward member, My husband and I are "gifted" complimentary stays at the W Las Vegas Hotel and all MGM properties. W is one of the hotels we choose to stay whenever we visit Las Vegas because it is the only hotel that I know of that has a separate bedroom and 1/2 bath configuration for their rooms. The W will be undergoing a renovation, hopefully by December of 2025, as it was acquired by Marriott in 2024. Currently, the rooms need a paint refresh, shower renovation and carpet change. As a Marriott property, it would be nice to have in-room coffee. If you decide to stay at the W, ask for the Staywell room. The premier king suite is 725 sf, has a room air purification system, Vitamin C shower infuser, circadian lighting, etc. View the complete description of amenities on their website. Th only con may be its location. It is attached to the Mandalay Bay hotel and, as such, it is located at the opposite end of the MB. However, this may be viewed as a pro since it is away from the congestion and noise associated with a larger hotel. I'm sure you won't regret staying at the W. If you are a loyal MGM Rewards member and have accrued a platinum tier status, you could request access to their VIP lounge where you will be greeted by some of the most friendliest staff who knows how to treat you like a VIP. An array of pastries, cookies, popcorn, and fresh fruit await you to enjoy with a variety of coffee/tea, and wine/alcoholic beverages. Enjoy

We had to trudge through 1,000 people waiting for Michael Jackson show. The lines are a joke, dropped bag of water 3 times trying to walk around people. They don’t care about guests checking in, found elevators before lobby. Once I got to lobby, the host Rose talked down to me in a condescending tone. I am Marriott Titanium rewards there is a partnership and I was informed to tell W hotel I am Marriott when checking in with priority. Rose laughed and insulted me, told me “ yes, surely you can tell me you’re Marriott” but then shared at me rudely and there was no priority or civility. I asked for her Manager, who treated me badly as well. April is her name, she was reluctant to provide me the lousy coworker name and her senior manager name Ani. I lugged nine bags from Mandaly entrance to W to be treted badly in May 12th 2025. I will never stay here again and do yourself a fovor and stay elsewhere.

Calvin in security welcomed us and showed us around - that made a world of difference! Enjoyed the mellow bars (S and Skyfall) and views of the mountains past the airport. No gambling in the hotel was a joy, while having indoor easy access to Mandalay Bay. Do not take anything from the mini bar, including coffee - way too expensive.

We have stayed at this hotel many times, through it's transitions from THE Hotel, Delano and now W. It's a good as it's ever been. We love the all suite concept. Having a space to sit and watch TV that's not a bed is great. The large bathroom with separate tub and shower as well as an additional half bathroom is great for couples or girlfriends as there is plenty of space to share. Beds are comfy. Housekeeping was spot on. Our only negative this trip was the pool. We purchased a daybed by the lazy river. Service was very good and friendly. But the pool is way over crowded. The lazy river isn't very relaxing when it's jammed with a billion kids, screaming, jumping and splashing. Please make the lazy river adult only or limit occupancy. Also the restaurant at the W is currently closed. Please reopen as there needs to be more options for breakfast.

Beautiful hotel with a few hiccups. To start the self parking has absolutely no signs guiding to the casino/hotel entrance. We had to follow others and then got stuck in the elevator. Not a great first impression. After entering there still wasn't sign's to the W. After finding the W hotel Jennifer at the MGM Gold/Noir desk was excellent. She made us feel special. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful, modern and striking. The rooms are suites which were beautiful in a classic sense. The bathroom was very large and nice. There is sme noise from the street. The bed's were excellent. We would have given the hotel a 5 star except the pool was a madhouse and a let down. First off the W does not have a pool on its own property. Instead you must walk 15 minutes to the Mandaly Bay beach pools. There is one dedicated to the W but all guest were using it. There were hundreds and hundreds of kids and no place to sit. It was a zoo. This is not the hip or sheik scene that we were expecting of a W. It was like being at a free community pool. They tried to upsell us to a top-less optional pool for $30 each even though we are both gold MGM members and Marriott Titanium. The upsell left us with a bad taste in our mouths and we still didn't know if the pool scene was going to be worth it so we left. We would stay again at the W but only in the winter. We prefer a better pool scene like at Cesars, the Venetian or when the new hard rock opens. Don't miss the opportunity to go to the Skyfall lounge on the top floor. The views are impressive.
