We love staying here, with it having a separate living space from the bedroom, with a 1/2 bath it makes it nice, it’s always clean with friendly staff, the coffee shop in the lobby is on point. I wish there was a direct way to get to the pool, but a security guard told us a easier way then the way we were going.

I've been an MGM Rewards member for many years, and have stayed at Delano many times in the past, so I was excited to see the transition to W Hotels, as I'd not stayed at that brand before. And now I know why. I was underwhelmed this stay with service and cleanliness. First, I requested a medical fridge when I checked in, as family members advised me that the fridge in the room is locked now? I made the request, but the fridge never showed up. I had to use ice during my stay. Next problem - I went to lock my valuables in the closet safe, where lo and behold there was a used washcloth sitting on top of the safe. Needless to say, that door was closed and that closet went unused. Then the shower - all the amenities were empty. Not just low - EMPTY. I do travel with my own shampoo/conditioner, but Delano had great bath amenities in the past, so I didn't bring body wash. My mistake, as there wasn't even a bar of soap for hand washing - again, an almost empty bottle of hand soap, but had to make due. Staff interactions were positive, but there are WAY too many other properties to stay at in Vegas - all going corporate right now, but that's another review. I did switch to Mandalay for my last night, and thankfully that room was clean and amenities were stocked. I'll probably bypass W for future stays - not impressed at all.

I stayed here with a small group that rented 4 rooms at the W Las Vegas. I stayed in room 8906 with my wife and two daughters. We booked through MGM Rewards. We were in town for a UCLA-UNLV football game at Allegiant Stadium. We were able to check in on Friday afternoon while still in Los Angeles. We got to the hotel around 10 PM and were offered a $50/night upgrade for a better view but were fine with what we got. The room was great - very large and we liked having 2 bathrooms. One of the two TVs didn't work but we didn't even call to get it fixed as we spent little time in the room anyway. We liked the proximity to Allegiant Stadium and recommend the W as it is the closest strip hotel to the stadium. They closed off the street so we had no problem walking to and from the game. It only took around 10 minutes to go from door to door. My daughters loved the pools at Mandalay Beach - The W has it's own pool which we spent a couple minutes at but mostly spent time in the lazy river, wave pool, and other main pool there. For 95 degree September days the pools were a little chilly that didn't bother me but were a bit too cold for my 8 year old. We've stayed here when it was TheHotel at Mandalay Bay and The Delano and enjoyed it every time. You don't have a central Las Vegas Strip location but that also meant the crowds weren't as overwhelming. We were given a 12 PM checkout which worked great on Sunday - we could have gotten later but any time after noon came with a price. We were able to park for free with MGM Rewards Pearl status. We'll definitely book again the next time there's an even at Allegiant. Perfect spot.

I typically don’t leave reviews, and I preface this saying the room I stayed in was great. My son who I was travelling with loved the Mandalay Beach. On my first night in our suite a panel that covers the area under the bathroom sink fell on me as I was using the sink. It wasn’t a big deal other than leaving a small bruise on my shin and we were driving out to the Grand Canyon early the next morning so I just left the large panel on the bathroom floor. When we returned to the room after our day trip to the Canyon I noticed room service had place the broken panel in the space under the sink and the area under the sink was covered in mold. Having finally had time to go to reception to report it the next morning, a member of their VIP - priority staff noticed we were looking for someone to speak to. I explained what had happened, that the panel had fallen on me, and about the mold. The response very was we will call engineering. I have to say I was very underwhelmed by the response. Not an apology or anything. We are from Australia and looking at the personal injury lawyers everywhere around Vegas you’d think fixtures falling on customer’s would be a concern. Especially from a member of staff that deals with VIP customers. Advice to management better training for staff. A simple on behalf of the hotel I’m sorry would go a long way.

Stayed here for the first time since they changed from being the Delano. Upscale suite in a nice complex, Mandalay Bay, which has the best pool in Vegas. Gaming is on the more expensive end. Lots of good restaurant choices, and walking distance to Luxor and Excalibur. Price was good with a special. Good MGM option.
