Vdara Hotel and Spa appeals to guests who love the energy and excitement of Las Vegas, but choose to enjoy it from an exclusive environment. It is an intimate and exclusive experience unlike anything else on the Las Vegas strip.

We chose to stay at this property and it is not one we plan to use again. We had a room on the 51st floor. We stepped off the elevator at 11 pm when we arrived and a stench was in the hallway. Two large fans were blowing on the carpet in the hallway so we walked around them to our room which was right beside one fan. The smell was like a wet dog and urine. We could not smell it in the room unless we were in the kitchenette. The small fridge did not have a good temperature - the waters we bought were barely cool after being in it all night. The bathroom sink drained slowly, there was hair in the bathtub (blonde so definitely not mine) and the shower leaked all over the floor even with a towel down on the tile. The second day, the fans were not running in the hallway and the carpet was sopping wet. Mind you there was no other way out of our hallway around it so we can to slosh through squishy carpet. The smell never went away. The carpet was wet across the entire hallway up to our door the day we left. The shades are not “blackout” shades so light comes through them across the entire room. The frosted glass bathroom door sticks out into the doorway and my husband hit his arms on it every time he went in or out. This "resort" felt stale and bland. The lobby smelled nice. I can say that as a positive. And it was close to Cosmopolitan and Aria. Not the experience I was hoping for.

The Vdara was everything I could have asked for. Smoke free, no casino, kitchenette, fountain view, secure. The Cosmo is a 3 minute walk, and the Bellagio is less than 10. Aria is right next door. I could walk to PH and the Mircle Mile in under 20. Center strip, in a great location. We had a 43rd floor parlor with the fountain view. The room feels quite large, and the room service was excellent everyday. Every staff member we encountered were nothing short of excellent. The spa, pool, and lobby bar are great as well, as we took advantage of all three. My wife said it was the best massage she's ever had. A really underrated thing, is not having to walk a country mile through a casino for an Uber, its right out the front door. Would absolutely stay here again, and would recommend to anyone coming to Vegas.

Honestly, not great. The location is annoying as they don't have their own garage so you'll have to walk a bit from the Aria garage unless you want to pay 40$/day +tip for valet. I haven't been able to sleep at all, the pillows are garbage so you should bring your own. God forbid you want to order room service at 9PM they charged the card and never delivered on the food, better yet, the dining phone line closes at 2PM (which the front desk has no problem transferring you to despite knowing no one will answer). You have to order off that tablet... Which guess what? If it doesn't work, you're SOL. Why can you order in suite dining from the QR code on the TV after it's closed? It doesn't make sense and frankly... This hotel sucks. Oh yeah, and they called our room. One singular ring so that when we picked it up the line was already dead. The solution wound up being to call them when they open and hoping for a refund. The only good thing about it is housekeeping. The employes are great, systematically the hotel is frustrating and migraine inducing. Their IT and the overall experience leaves a lot to be desired.

I stayed in a panoramic suite for 3 nights. Initially I was super excited about the size and quality of the suite — ridiculous views, fantastic layout, huge compared to comparably priced rooms anywhere else. The indoor walkways to Bellagio and Cosmopolitan were also incredibly fast and convenient, and I liked that they and Aria were a 2 minute walk away but there was no casino immediately downstairs (or the smoking and noise). However, the look of it was deceiving. Among many other issues, the suite was dusty and dirty, and reeked of smoke — even though Vdara is supposedly a non-smoking property. Even when I told the front desk, they promised to bring in air purifiers but they did not. I had to ask again the next day. Even after the air purification system was supposedly run, the suite still reeked of cigarette smoke. Service was atrocious. My room was not serviced even when I specifically called down at noon to ask for it to be serviced while I was going to be out of the room that day. When I came back in the evening and found that no one had come, I called again and was promised housekeeping would come right away before I went to sleep. An hour later, no one had come. I called yet again and was put on hold for 20 minutes and transferred to 3 different people. Absurd. Currently sitting here waiting up for anyone to come or get back to me, so I can go to bed. Ugh.

Writing bc I saw a lot of negative reviews about Vdara cleanliness and was reluctant to stay here again, tho in the past it was our go-to due to being non-smoking, smaller w no casino, and great location mid-strip. Pros: all staff were super helpful and friendly. Room showed a little wear & tear, was immaculately clean and everything worked as expected. Always nice to have a mini-fridge for waters and a microwave to warm up your breakfast croissants fr Aria. Cons: I hate to take off a full star for this - wish TA would let u do half-stars - but other reviewers are correct. Vdara/MGM is not clear that coffee and water on the counter are not complimentary. We were not duped but I could see why others were. Vdara be like other hotels w a clear and easy to read sign that shows the prices of these things. Thanks to all staff. Look forward to seeing you again.
