Vdara Hotel and Spa appeals to guests who love the energy and excitement of Las Vegas, but choose to enjoy it from an exclusive environment. It is an intimate and exclusive experience unlike anything else on the Las Vegas strip.

The check-in process was quick and the service was good. The room was clean, but it felt outdated. Self-parking isn’t very convenient since it’s not close to the hotel, so most guests will likely opt for valet instead. One nice aspect is that the hotel doesn’t have a casino, which makes it a good option for families looking for a quieter stay. Vdara is also located right next to Aria Resort and Casino, which is convenient if you want easy access to dining and entertainment. Overall, it was an okay stay.

Every time we go to Vegas, the Vdara is our favorite place to stay. We like the fountain view because there is a great view of the strip when everything is lit up at night. In the morning you see the mountains in the distance. The prices are reasonable, and the site is well kept. The hotel is connected to or within walking distance to surrounding casinos, shops and restaurants.

I stayed at Vdara in Las Vegas for 4 nights this past weekend in a panoramic 1-bedroom suite, and it was an excellent stay. The biggest highlight for me was how quiet it was — something you don’t often get in Vegas. It truly felt like a retreat after a night out of gambling and exploring, and I slept so well. The suite layout is fantastic: a living room with a sleek 3-person sofa and a lounge chair, plus a dining table tucked behind it. The kitchen is fully equipped with a big refrigerator, microwave, oven, and stove — great for longer stays. There’s also a half bathroom right off the hallway entrance, which is very convenient. The bedroom was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated in a modern but uncluttered style. The bathroom was amazing: large, bright, and luxurious, with two sinks, a walk-in shower, a soaking bathtub, and separate toilet space — all running alongside the suite’s panoramic windows. Overall, I found the suite modern, comfortable, and restorative. Watching The Matrix in the living room and unwinding with my Balatro game made it feel like home. I’d absolutely recommend Vdara’s panoramic suites to anyone who values peace, comfort, and modern style while still being close to the Strip. 180 panoramic view of Vegas No smoking 1 bedroom 1.5 bathoom (spa like spacious bathroom) Washer/dryer Full kitchen Very Quiet

I've stayed at a variety of places in Vegas, but never either of the Aria properties. With two stays at Vdara in the span of 3 weeks, there is a lot to like, but also things that could certainly improve. What's to like: - Location - Rooms (mostly) - Comfort - Service (some) - Security What needs work: - Amenities - Updates - Staff/service Vdara is in an excellent location. You can walk to Aria, Cosmopolitan, and Bellagio easily from this property, and you can do that indoors. I would use rideshare to go across the Strip to places like MGM, but there is a lot that's accessible from this hotel. Rooms at Vdara are large, with a kitchenette and bath/shower combo. The square footage is quite nice to have, and everything is quite comfortable. However, the tile work could use a refresh for being on the nicer end of Vegas properties, and the shower is too small vs. the size of the bathtub. Since most hotel guests are using showers, the size of that area should be prioritized. Security offered at Vdara is reassuring. You need to show a room key to security staff to even enter the elevators, and you must scan your room key to select a floor inside an elevator. One thing that disappointed me about this property was the amenities. For a large, upscale Vegas property, the fitness area is a letdown. Aria's fitness center is so much larger and better that it makes you wonder why Vdara even bothered. It should be brought up to the same level as the Aria offering. Also, the restaurants at Vdara just aren't impressive. When so many Vegas hotels offer at least one nice restaurant, you're left wondering why the grab-and-go food service counter in the lobby seems to be the main offering. In fairness, there are lots of options within a walk to Cosmo, Bellagio, and Aria, but still ... Vdara could do better. Finally, while the service is mostly good (daily room housekeeping and friendly housekeepers), the front desk perplexed me. On one of my visits, I was denied the room type I booked because "we oversold that room type and don't have any more available". That's unacceptable in a hotel. It might work on an airline when you can offer vouchers and other incentives to oversell situations, but at Vdara, all you get is "sorry, here's this lesser room instead". Also, I booked a promotional rate with a $100-per-day dining credit, and the front desk refused to honor it upon inquiry. I even took the time to send their staff an email with screenshots of my confirmation and the promotion clearly indicated. They simply said no. If it wasn't a business trip, I would have been furious. This is just not good service. Overall, this is a great property for those that would rather do without the cigarette smoke and obnoxious casino vibe in a hotel while in Vegas. There are tons of options to get into casinos, but Vdara offers a peaceful change coming back to your hotel after a long day of conferences and meetings. There is plenty to like but the property could be even better.
