Vdara Hotel and Spa appeals to guests who love the energy and excitement of Las Vegas, but choose to enjoy it from an exclusive environment. It is an intimate and exclusive experience unlike anything else on the Las Vegas strip.

This hotel is over rated. The rooms are dated the housekeeping is horrible. Don’t drink the coffee in the room, it’s 18$ for two cups. Calling the front desk you are on hold forever. As is the check in process. It is however a very clean hotel. Just a bit disappointed in the quality of service. The first night they didn’t even clean my room. The second day they left dirty coffee cups in the sink.

Booked a hospitality Suite that I am currently staying in which supposed to be 1600 Sqft and is definitely not. VDARA has a disclaimer that the square footage is approximate and can vary. Total scam. Spoke to front desk and they spoke to a Lauren on the phone. Lauren who was the front desk manager was completely unaccommodating. I asked if I could see if there are other lay outs and she refused and hit me with the tired "we are fully booked" rebuttal. Fully booked in this current recession? Sure. My 1500 Sqaure foot vacation home in LA is bigger than this 1600 square foot "Hospitality Suite". This is my first night here which staying for another 2 days feels like a chore. Also they don't care if you spend thousands of dollars on a suite you are just a number to them. The room is worn and they gave me the lowest floor for suite type which is 42 which I feel is racially motivated because of my name. I know the hotel industry and I know what giving the lowest floor means. The next day I was trying to take a shower in the Master Bedroom and the water would not drain. Called front desk and they sent a tech out to unclog it. Went to the guest bedroom to take a shower and black sewer water came up in the Master bathroom! Completely disgusting. Called front desk and told them the issue and the way they replied seemed like it was normal. On top of it all Valet scammed me and made me pay outside while I was also getting charged on my room. Front desk told me I had to go ask Valet for a refund. All this and I didn't even touch base on cleanliness. Stay clear from this property. The W is much better if you are looking to stay at an MGM property.

Booked a panoramic suite wanting to wow my family. The suite had a rubbish view, the blinds were closed on entering the room so no view at all Had booked for 4 adults but room only had one bed and a sofa bed. . managed to get a move to another studio with 2 queen beds. we had brought food to eat in the room. but despite having a kitchenette there was no dishes or crockery. you have to call housekeeping Spent 30 mins on hold for someone to answer just to get some plates and cutlery. For the price we paid for the room, this was awful service.

Warning - to any Bonvoy members this should not be a Bonvoy property. I am here for business - not my choice but so be it. If you do happen to stay here, do NOT utilize the mobile app. I errored big time and checked in via mobile app. I have been here since 0900. When I arrived I asked at front desk if there was possibility to get into a room early. I was willing to pay up to $200 (done this before in Vegas). The individual at the front desk said 'you mobile check in, you wait for text, you wait for text'. After twice repeating my request and her repeating the same, I walked away. I've been able to get work done in the lobby, but it is now 4:00 p.m. and the app still says 'preparing your room'. All of this may be been reasonably expected, except that there's been a steady stream of people checking in ALL DAY. Had I not done mobile check in, there's chance I'd have been in a room long ago. Do not use the app and if you have choice and are a Bonvoy member, go elsewhere.

It was odd the invited guest wasn't there as directed on site for luxury suite. It was further odd the front desk guy with dark blonde bob decided to ignore is (he did this twice and immediately suggested the next person after me though we never spoke), I don't understand that. Further, had to request kitchenware and given dishwasher liquid. There was a full kitchen and washer and dryer. We had to specify exactly the utensils, spoon, fork, plates, bowls directly over phone because they ask to do so. The forks, spoons and knife came in a plastic packet you would get for take-out. Nothing for washer or dryer. Guess had to ask for that too but assumed as it's a fixture. My mistake for expecting. There where two burned holes in the carpet, very noticeable. The lights on the stairwell didn't work. The bathrooms (upsatirs and downstairs) rattles loudly, but cant hear if you close the doors. Just FYI, there's $350 each day for incidentals (for luxury suites). The pool closes at 5pm and dust/fingerprints throughout. With all of that the upsatirs bed/pillows was nice. The view downstairs was cool and though rattles, the 1.5 bathroom comes in handy. Oh, they say housekeeping won't come for three days to "green house" but had someone knock then open the door on day one. With all this, it was nice to have the space but upkeep of room/amenities are definitely needed.
