Vdara Hotel and Spa appeals to guests who love the energy and excitement of Las Vegas, but choose to enjoy it from an exclusive environment. It is an intimate and exclusive experience unlike anything else on the Las Vegas strip.

My company holds our annual sales meeting in Vegas every August, and I always pick Vdara from the list of hotels. After a long day of meetings it's so nice to be able to access my room within minutes vs a long walk across a casino through crowds and smoke. Vdara has great associates and service, it's impeccably clean, and I appreciate the calm and quiet it provides.

Great suite and view. Spa was a great experience. Property is ideal with no casino and smoking. And we can’t forget about the pool worked on the tan. All around it was a great trip. Much appreciated. See you next time.

It was my first time in Las Vegas. I did LOADS of research to make sure I got the best bang for my buck when choosing a hotel, and it certainly paid off. I stayed on the 11th floor in a Studio Parlor room. It had teh divider, and a TV on each side. One facing the bed, the other facing a couch. Nice kitchen, free fridge to use (next to a mini bar fridge I did not touch!), and a stove top with pots, pans, and plates available upon request. VERY large bathroom with a soaking tub (no jets). Large separate stand up shower. The room was exactly as advertised inside, and out. Very nice king bed. When I got my room assignment on the 11th floor I was slightly disappointed as I wished for something higher. I went to the desk before entering around noon time (I did not pay for or ask for an early check in. It was just given to me on the app), and was offered a higher floor if I wanted, but I would have to wait awhile as the higher floors were not ready. Elliot, at the desk was very kind, and easy to work with. He allowed me to go up and look at the room to see if it was to my liking providing I didn't touch anything lol. So I did just that. I went up, the view was far better than I thought it would be, so I decided to stay there for my 5 night stay. The location is prime right in city center with short indoor walks to both the Cosmopolitan, and Bellagio casinos. The Vdara also offers a short outdoor walk to the Aria casino. All prime, central properties on the Las Vegas strip. There is a VERY over priced store in the lobby that does "surge" pricing. Kinda like Uber, when its busy prices are higher. I paid $16 for a White Claw. Kind of insane pricing if you ask me, and the only reason NOTHING in Las Vegas will get 5 stars every until they cut there prices by like half. But you need to do your research before going to LV. You can make the walk to a CVS down the street, or an ABC store. I paid for the White Claw this one time purely out of convenience. All in all I would absolutely stay at the Vdara again. I LOVE the location, and comfort. The only issue I had was the ipad in the room to order room service on was broken. I was not able to order anything. I considered it a blessing, and just let it go due to the pricing lol. Oh and for those who need a coffee first thing in the morning, there is also a Starbucks right in the lobby as well. I paid $7.50 for a large coffee each morning.

We chose this property for the quiet and no smoking. There was no smoking, and the location was great with a beautiful view of the fountains and sphere from our room, which was comfortable, modern, and clean. We didn't love having just a glass door that hardly closed all the way between the bed and the echoey toilet. Also the vent carried sound as if the 3-day party in another part of the hotel was being piped directly into our living space. The wait for check-in was entirely too long (it was apparently a "busy weekend") and we couldn't get the self-check kiosks to work. We had our bed made one day, but they didn't take the trash (yuck) and the next 2 days no service (altho we never used the DND, so??) Fwiw, we didn't complain about anything. The pool doesn't get sun until maybe 11, so we had to trek to the Aria pool for a few hours to sunbathe. Also the pool closes early (5 or 6). And they will search your bags to be sure you're not bringing in outside food or drinks. (They were friendly about it). Vdara was a quieter and smaller pool, except we still managed to get some loud talkers and young children seemingly follow wherever we lounged. But what really upset me is that they charge $18 for the in-room coffee! And $14 for one bottle of water. I didn't realize this until it was too late, as it was just sitting on the counter next to the coffee maker like any other hotel that offers complimentary coffee and water. So if you make yourself 2 coffees with the bottled water, get ready to pay $50 plus taxes every day. There is also a mini bar and snacks that are obviously not free, and more traditionally exorbitantly priced. But the coffee was a true insult. Coffee in the cheapest roadside motel is included- its a hotel basic. Like countless others, I need coffee before I leave the room. I wont stay here again based on that alone. Such a low brow move. (Fwiw, Starbucks is in the lobby for MUCH cheaper.)

Our suite was nice but during our 2 night's stay we could not get anybody to fix the bathtub (no hot water) after 5 phone calls for service.
