We stayed at Vdara in February to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was our first time staying there. We absolutely loved it. For the past three years we’ve stayed at the Cosmopolitan, which we’ve always enjoyed — great vibe and nothing negative to say about it. But the last time we stayed we were in a tower close to the nightclub and it was pretty loud, so this year we decided to try Vdara for something quieter. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve made in Vegas. One of the things we quickly realized is how convenient the location is. You can get from Vdara to the Cosmopolitan casino almost as quickly as if you were staying in the Cosmopolitan itself thanks to the fast elevators and the easy breezeway that connects the properties. You can also walk inside to Bellagio through another breezeway, which was a huge perk. Check-in was an absolute breeze — no long lines, no stressed or irritated staff. Everyone we encountered was pleasant, welcoming, and very accommodating. The room was spectacular with beautiful views and a full kitchen. It really feels more like a small apartment than a hotel room. They’ll bring you any utensils you need, and if you walk across to CVS you can grab bagels or groceries and have your own breakfast in the room. There’s even a washer and dryer in the unit which is incredibly convenient for longer stays. Unfortunately, at the end of our trip my wife became extremely sick the morning we were supposed to leave. In the 15 years we’ve been together I’ve never seen her like that. Her motor skills were off and it was very concerning. I packed our luggage and called 911 because I knew we were not getting on our flight. I also called the front desk and explained the situation, asking if they could have the bellman hold our luggage since we were heading to the hospital. Within minutes a doctor and staff member were in the room checking her vitals, followed shortly by the ambulance. In such a busy place, it was incredible how quickly everyone responded. In less than 10 minutes the room was full of people helping my wife, which brought me a lot of relief. The staff told me to just keep them updated and they would take care of our luggage. We spent most of the day at the hospital and when it became clear we wouldn’t be leaving that day, I called Vdara to ask about getting a room for the night. I assumed our luggage had already been removed and the room turned over for the next guest. Instead, they told me that our luggage was still in the room and that they had extended our stay. My key was still active and they told me to simply come back whenever we were able. When we returned later that night the room had been cleaned, our luggage was exactly where we left it, and everything was ready for us. What truly amazed me was that they didn’t even charge us for the extra night. I’ve called to say thank you, but I also wanted to leave this review in hopes that the appreciation reaches the right people. The kindness and professionalism shown by the staff and management meant a lot during a stressful situation. This was our fourth consecutive year visiting Las Vegas. We love the shows, the amazing restaurants, the desert scenery nearby, and of course the excitement of the casinos. But our experience at Vdara truly stood out. Quiet, beautiful rooms, incredible location, and a staff that genuinely cares. 10 out of 10. We will absolutely be staying at Vdara again.

Excellent stay at Vdara. Lobby smells divine, much better than Aria which is spoilt by smoking from the casino that wafts into the lobby. Smooth check in & a clean and tidy Bellagio Fountain view studio on 37th floor. Superb view and the fountain music is piped in through the tv in the room. Huge bathroom, with a bath. Location great and indoor walkways link the hotel to MGM Park, Cosmo and Bellagio. Highly recommended for a mid strip stay.

No recognition for Marriott members even ambassador level, will offer a room upgrade that isnt an upgrade. Smoke free, more like smoke less, but you can still smell cannabis most days. Have no policy on how to stop people leaving g their dogs barking in their rooms whilst they're out. It's not bad it's just there is no recognition of status. So stay elsewhere where there is.

We have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions. It is my go to for Vegas because it is quiet and it's easy to get to the rooms from the front door. No mile long trek through a noisy casino to find the elevators. The rooms have always been nice, the only downfall that we have found is that the sofa beds are terribly uncomfortable. I understand that sofa beds are generally not the most luxurious, but the ones we've experienced here are the worst of the worst (so says my teenager). The staff at this hotel have always been amazing. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. On our most recent visit my teenager left her computer in the room when we checked out. We had not yet left Vegas as we had an evening flight. The hotel staff called me to let me know they had found it and kept it in their lost and found for us to pick up. I have had many experiences with leaving things in hotel rooms and I have never successfully been able to retrieve the items. This hotel is on the higher end for price, but the staff and their genuine ability to care and treat people in a manner that feels good will keep me coming back.

Stayed for two nights while at a conference at the Aria next door. Vdara is a sister hotel to the Aria and although the two aren’t physically connected they share the same driveway and it’s a short walk. As a non-gambler, I liked that Vdara doesn’t have a casino and the layout is more of a traditional hotel. There was no line at checkin on a weekend evening so I was able to quickly get up to my room. The rooms start on around the 30th floor and go into the 50’s so you can get some good views. My room was on the 51st floor and had a nice view facing the Bellagio fountains and Sphere. I reserved a studio and had a small kitchenette, sitting area and a partition to the sleeping area, perfect for one or two people. The kitchenette has a two burner stove, microwave, fridge, etc. There is a stocked mini bar (the kind that charges automatically if you remove something) plus an empty fridge next to it. The mini bar prices are in the bedside tablet, be aware everything is super expensive. Even the coffee service and water on the counter is pricy so check everything. There is no kitchenware, just a sign that says you can call housekeeping for it. I tried to use the fitness center but it closes at 5pm daily—I guess they expect you use the Aria’s which is open 24 hours. I’ve stayed at a few hotels nearby including the Park MGM Grand (small rooms) and New York New York (down market but less expensive) and Vdara is definitely the best choice if you can swing the rate.
