Reviews for The Venetian

I'll try another expensive Vegas hotel next time

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 23 hours ago

It's a beautiful clean hotel with a good staff. That's the positive. The negative is the following. It is unnecessarily large. It was a trek to get to our room down the incredibly long hallways and even more of a trek to get downstairs or to the ice machine all the way down a different hallway. The resort offers small Venetian labeled bottled waters complimentary but only at the front desk. If you want a water in the room, the large bottle will cost you $12. When I asked why I have to trek all the way to the front desk to get a complementary bottle of water and why they couldn't just put in the room. I was told that I could have a complementary bottle of water brought to my room at a charge. How is that complementary? Also before beginning your long trek down to a restaurant for breakfast it would be nice to have a cup of coffee in your room. Unfortunately, the rooms though immense are not equipped with a coffee maker the bathrooms, while beautiful have a single hook for a towel, which is fine except if you're traveling with a spouse. Finally, several times at meals. We were told that we could only sit for one hour. When you're spending $75 for eggs in the morning, it's not the kind of message you want to receive before you sit down. Similarly, we were told the same thing at their very nice, but very expensive restaurants, that we had to be out in one hour. All in all, while it's a very nice hotel I would not stay there again. There are much better options in Vegas.

Definitely an unmatched experience !

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We just got back from staying at the Venetian Hotel and going to the BSB concert at the sphere. The Venetian is definitely my favorite place I've stayed on the strip! The atmosphere and architecture and ambiance is truly unmatched. The room was incredible and had the best bathroom I've ever encountered at a resort! Everything was super clean and luxurious and worth the price every penny! Staying here was definitely a huge benefit if going to a concert at the sphere. Being able to walk through to the sphere while being inside and not having to arrange transportation etc is definitely something I'd recommend! The hotel is towards one end of the strip but it's really not a big deal. If you want to explore the other end and now have to walk you can just get a ride to the other end and do whatever you want and then come back later. It's not as inconvenient as I thought it would be! Definitely recommend and will be coming back!

Must come back.

Outstanding Service Recognition – Jessica and Andrew

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally recognize the exceptional service provided by Jessica and Andrew from Resort Services during my recent stay at The Venetian. Unfortunately, my visit involved a series of challenges related to our room, room service, and billing. Without detailing each issue, I can say it was one difficulty after another. That said, what truly stood out—and ultimately defined my experience—was the level of customer service I received throughout the process. From the hotel host to the front desk manager, everyone I interacted with was professional, courteous, and helpful. However, Jessica and Andrew went above and beyond, with Jessica deserving special recognition. She demonstrated genuine empathy, clearly understanding how frustrating the situation was—particularly for my wife. She took full ownership of the issues, followed through diligently, and exceeded my expectations in every respect. I cannot say enough positive things about her professionalism and commitment to guest satisfaction. Despite having poor luck gambling during my last few visits, the caliber of service—driven by team members like Jessica and Andrew—is the primary reason I would gladly return to The Venetian. Exceptional service truly makes the difference. Please extend my sincere thanks to both of them, and especially to Jessica, for turning a difficult situation into a positive and memorable experience. Sincerely, Daniel

worst hotel stay of my life

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

avoid this place - it is an extremely mismanaged hotel and none of the employees care (from highest position to the lowest level) at all. look at all of the one star recent reviews, learn from our mistakes. avoid! we were in a beautifully redone but extremely dirty suite with high ceilings on the 23rd floor. our bill was like 8k for 3 nights, they took off 500 dollars. we wanted to leave early znd booked a refundable rate, but you cannot even find anyone to talk to so we were unable to do so. - so called concierge did nothing that was requested and that we asked to book. that was a nightmare. worst concierge experience. - fancy ‘nice’ luxury car sent to get us from the airport was junky/old (and not in a classic car way) - room was very much not clean/never properly cleaned. covered in dust, condom on the floor (we were with our 5 year old). the cleaning staff never had enough towels. robes, washcloths, toilet paper, tissue. it was a nice suite but felt like we were camping after evacuating from some major hurricabe, it did not feel like Vegas fanxy iver the top - at all. we could never locate any staff. and we had to follow up 5 times about everything. that took up the majority of the trip - issues with both toilets in our suite on the 23rd floor, exploding. and thats upon arrival. super gross - room service food wrong (items missing, put in cheap to go containers) and then you are unable to reach anyone due to the phones, tv, internet being down all day every single day. they act like it is the first time it happened - but no - it was 4 days in a row. we received a text first thing in the morning about the outages each day - security guards not posted when and where thet should be posted, so anyone can saunter in - that is really scary. - honestly the worst part was just, when you could reach anyone, they clearly do not care. everyone has been conplaining and the few employees hate working there and it shows. no follow up with any request. also it is across from a MAJOR loud construction site. abd on the airplsne routez so probably good to avoid forever ir for at least year or two to come. it is such a shame because the redone rooms are beautiful. service was the WORST we have experienced.
