The Venetian

I finally stayed at the Venetian! It ended up being about what I thought it would be. Clean, safe, elegant, big and not 100% perfect. No place is going to have 100% perfect clientele 100% of the time. I stayed on the 21st floor in the South Tower. So, I did a lot of walking. This solidified my opinion that Caeasers Palace and MGM Grand are probably way too big for me. I will stay at the Palazzo on my next LV trip. I think it will be perfect.

This was the first time staying at the Venetian. I was there from Tuesday-Thursday to attend a conference. From the first person I met to the last person as I was getting into a taxi for the airport everyone was so nice. I was lost around the Grand Canal shoppes and a Venetian employee, Alfredo, while on break got me back in the direction I needed to go and walked with me to make sure. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the Venetian employees! Excellent stay where I received outstanding care!

This resort is so top-notch and complete; you never need to leave. They have great dining and excellent staff. The casino is fun, and the rewards program is mostly okay. The pool is great if you don’t gamble. Our faves: Bouchon Bakery brought back to the room. The clientele is class. We went for mom’s 90th birthday and the elevator crowd gave her such nice wishes to start the day 💕 Very safe.

Had the Hilton people in the Venetian and a girl keep hitting on my boyfriend. Was confronted and still keep it up. Very unprofessional people were let in the Venetian. POOR POOR taste. We were the March 30-April 2. Won't go back due to letting unprofessional people. Will find a more Classy and Professional Hotel.

The room itself was great, but unfortunately our overall experience was not. So disappointing. I believe Venetian hotel is going downhill and they lost their origin quality. Staff were very unfriendly. On the morning of checkout, around 7:30 AM, a staff member went room to room aggressively knocking multiple times on each door. It was very disruptive and stressful, especially while we were still asleep and trying to relax early in the morning. When we opened the door, she quickly moved on to the next rooms and later explained that it was checkout day and everyone needed to be ready by 11 AM. However, this approach felt unnecessary and quite intrusive, as we were already aware of the checkout time and fully planned to leave on time. This kind of experience is unusual and not something we’ve encountered at other hotels. Unfortunately, it negatively impacted an otherwise pleasant stay.
