Find all of the beauty and drama of Venice in a most unlikely place when you check into The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino on the Strip in Las Vegas. With soaring marble pillars, works of art and entire facades painstakingly recreated, not to mention actual canals with singing gondoliers gliding past, The Venetian captures the magic of Italy perfectly. The Grand Canal Shoppes, including some of the most sought-after designer names, and restaurants run by some of most highly regarded chefs, line the canals beneath vaulted, hand-painted ceilings. An 112,000 square foot casino awaits those ready to try their luck at the famed tables, while a variety of activities offer additional diversity. The Venetian is a chance to walk through halls of history, explore the beauty of one of Italy's most famous cities, and to experience the wonders that Las Vegas has to offer - in one spectacular resort.

Was able to recover what we left at the hotel over the weekend. The lost & found had been a great help, so did the security. Our local friend told us that if this was at any other Vegas hotel, it will be lost for sure. Thump up on the after customer service!

The Venetian Resort exceeded all of our expectations! The room, which was a standard room, was exceptional. We were in the North Tower which has been redone and it was well-appointed, so roomy, comfortable and very beautiful. We dined and had drinks at several of the restaurants and lounges on property and they were all very good. The prices are very high but that’s Vegas right now unfortunately! We appreciated the kindness and professionalism of all of the staff members on the property. We would definitely stay at the Venetian in the future.

I have written many many many reviews of the Venetian and so really did not need another except for the fact that this time I stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms so thought I would. They are downright beautiful. I stayed mid December for two nights and noticed the rooms now contain a refrigerator for personal use so it was a plus already. Also there are now controls for the curtains etc right near the bed, two bed lights for reading built into the headboard and a larger television. The decor is now highlighted with reds and I personally loved it as now the rooms look very very modern but still keep the original layout. Of course this time of year I did not use the pool, and did not take advantage of having the room cleaned so no comments on that. The casino like any was full of all kinds of different machines as always and I can win or lose anywhere so that is not a factor for me other than having the latest games. I did eat at the food court on the second floor and not the new one and the Grand Luxe Cafe and the food was just fine as usual. Good service , good times and good eating. I have nothing incredibly bad to say as usual but as I mentioned wanted to highlight the new rooms. I did have one minor complaint. Due to the construction of the new food court the sundry store near the north tower which I loved to go to has been cut down to a smaller size and does not offer as many options as they used to. I would personally have left it alone but that's just me. If you ever stay hear it is well worth your time.

The lines to store your luggage were ridiculous. We went outside to where the sign was and we had stored before. 3 guys were standing around and they directed us inside and the line was about 70 people. Wrapped around 4 times. Plan on dedicating an hour to leave it and retrieval was about 40 mins also. Making us late for dinner. You would think they had all hands on deck.

We have stayed in other Vegas top hotels but we would come back without a second thought. I wish I was there right now!
