The Venetian

This was my Birthday celebration & I was looking forward to a very upscale weekend which started off badly. We valet'd the car but there was no bellhop to take care of our luggage, we were advised that the hotel had cut back on staff. Had we known this it would have been alot less expensive to park our own car! Finally found a bellhop & he told us he'd deliver the luggage as soon as we got our keys. We waited & waited in our room till I noticed the luggage receipt advises you call for the delivery, he never told us to call. Rooms were nicely decorated & clean, beds & pillows comfortable. The commode room was so dark I could hardly see the toilet paper. Speaking of toilet paper, I've used softer toilet paper in a gas station. The towels were OK, I had expected them to bit a bit more plush. The refrigerator was so stocked I couldn't even fit in a bottled drink I bought & forget it if you have any food left over from a meal, no where to put it. Staff was friendly & accommodating. Restaurants were excellent. As far as The Palazzo Hotel goes I was very disappointed & would not return there nor recommend this hotel.

Absolutely terrible experience at The Venetian Las Vegas. The service was awful from start to finish, and the billing practices were even worse. I was hit with multiple unauthorized and questionable charges after checkout, including what appeared to be a completely fraudulent “smoking sensor” charge despite the fact that no one in the room smoked or vaped. It honestly felt like an attempt to scam guests into paying outrageous fees with little to no evidence. On top of that, there were additional unauthorized charges added to my bill that management could not properly explain. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, staff were dismissive and unhelpful. For a hotel that markets itself as luxury, the customer service and integrity were shockingly poor. I would strongly advise anyone staying here to carefully review their final bill and dispute any suspicious charges immediately. There are far better hotels in Las Vegas that actually value their guests and operate honestly.

I was there for a conference and I chose to stay at the Venetian because the conference was being held here. I was here for 6 nights with my family. First of all I must say that it is a massive property. Given it an all suite property, I had a suite in the south block. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, gondola and boat ride within the property was amazing. Looked like they had a city within the hotel. The house keeping did an amazing work with the room service. Only 2 points of improvement here - when we ordered in room dining, it took very very long for the food to arrive and this did not happen once but twice. Also they seriously need to look at amenities in the room which should be there like bottles of water or coffee/tea kettle which you expect everywhere, given the property was very expensive.

Overall a good experience. Pool was nice and room overall was great. Check-in was smooth and the check-in staff were great. First world problems, but the room service app did not work. Then the phone in the room wasn’t charged, but the speaker phone worked. However, nobody answered the room service phone. Check out staff were slow to help even with me being the only one in line and three people working the desk.
