My mom and I made reservations to stay at the Westgate resort and casino for Friday 5/17 to 5/18. We called in to make sure that we can still check in as we weren’t going to get to Las Vegas til late. Jennifer from customer service at the front desk was AMAZING! Very friendly and helpful! Definitely in the right business! She answered the phone promptly with enthusiasm and is very knowledgeable.

My husband and I went to the Westgate Hotel specifically for the Kentucky Derby. We own racehorses and when we do not attend a major race like the derby, it is important that we have the best experience possible. The Westgate Race and Sports book is the very best in Las Vegas. The screens are excellent and provide good views of all sporting events. The seating is comfortable and our favorite teller Paul knows a great deal about racing. Rosemary Rocco and Ray Kuhles are very helpful and try to always accommodate to ensure our experience is a good one. The overall Westgate Hotel offers us everything we need. Great restaurants, updated rooms, convenience to everything and wonderful people.

Pros: Room was extremely spacious and they have six lifts catering to each section of floors so you never really have to wait for lifts. There’s a monorail station just outside the hotel so you don’t have to drive everywhere. There’s a parking garage with cameras and security patrolling now and then but note that’s it’s a fair bit of walking from the hotel lobby and lifts. Toiletries provided in the room are pretty good. Cons: Room was dated and it was meant to be adjoining rooms so there were two doors leading to the rooms next to us. This means we can hear the noises from the rooms next door pretty well. We heard our neighbours throwing up and drinking in the night. There are sections of carpet missing. The staff at the reception wasn’t exactly polite and didn’t tell us the wifi code. We only realised when we were in the room and was too tired to ask anymore. Lobby constantly smells of smoke and pot. All in all it was a decent stay though I wouldn’t say it was great.

The best place in Vegas for sure! The beds are great, the pillows are better. Live entertainment free at night. The best band ever is High Rocktaine! You must come see to appreciate! Danced my butt off. Very interactive with the crowd. My entire group loved the experience.

Bishop in the In House Greeter department at the Westgate Resort was so friendly, helpful and is just a wonderful person. He went out of his way to help us during our stay at the Westgate Resort. He really understands how to support customers.
