The hotel staff were very friendly. I will give special review for the restaurant team, they were exceptional. These five people went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable: Laura, Lorkaela, Paulo, John, George, Youssef and Quentin. The housekeeping team were also on point.

We enjoyed our room. The staff was very helpful! The size of the room was especially nice. We had a good view. I would definitely go back.

Myself and my wife had a wonderful break at the Hotel Royal Savoy Lausanne in early August. The hotel is excellent and our first impressions were formed on check in where we were warmly greeted by Clemence, who showed us to our room in the new building. Any time Clemence was on reception duty after that she had a big smile for us, which made us feel very welcome. It wasn’t just Clemence, all of the staff were very warm and seemed to appreciate our attempts to at least start every conversation in French. One thing that stood out is how the staff at breakfast seemed to be one step ahead in anticipating your particular needs, without being obtrusive. The room we stayed in, in the new building, faced a quiet park and was very spacious. The bathroom could be entered from either end, which was a nice quirky touch. This made the room feel anything but an identikit layout. We had a spacious balcony and spent some time on it most evenings. A big advantage for the hotel is the proximity of the Dèlices Metro station, which is literally across from the hotel entrance. We found this very useful for accessing the town (two stops north) or Ouchy (two stops south). We can’t comment on the restaurants as we did not eat evening meals in the hotel, but the breakfast was lovely. Every individual item was really tasty, petite and well presented. A particular favourite of mine was the crepe with maple syrup. We used the pool and spa area a few times. The pool was excellent and we always seemed to get an outside sun lounger in the late afternoon when we needed it. One suggestion for improvement would be to have someone lift towels from beds that were obviously no longer occupied, especially during high demand. In summary, we were very well looked after during our time in the Hotel Royal Savoy Lausanne, and if we return to the city would not need to look elsewhere for accommodation. Well done to all of the staff and management.
