beautiful place but at this price point, you should expect better. Food was passable at best, service was minimal. A friend went there when it first opened and said they were still working out the kinks...they still are

great way to spend a mother and daughter milestone birthday - we had great food - great bonding time but could pick events and classes personal tour our individual tastes and then meet up for our time together all in all a very successful trip

My experience at Miraval is wonderful everytime! The staff is always smiling and happy to accommodate. The meals are fresh and well prepared with many options. The activity calandar is extensive and thinks of everything you would want to experience. An example of one day: Morning stretch, followed by Fundamentals of Kayaking (a paddle around Laurel Lake, where we saw a Bald Eagle perch and fly over us), then a Nature Walk around the Beaver Pond (with a Naturist who pointed out birds, trees, flowers, etc), Lunch at Harvest Moon, Class on Cultivating Conscious Communication, Aqua Barre (water ballet), Meditation for Good Sleep (which I fell asleep in), Dinner at Harvest Moon, Pool side reading, Facial at the spa, and to end with sleep on a cloud! I always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I'm looking forward to my return.

We came to Miraval for a long weekend (Wed to Sat) looking for relaxation, reset, and some quality spa time. The spa delivered. The relaxation and reset - lots of choices on the fitness and other classes, but need to book ahead of time. We were very happy with the offerings. Two points to note: the choices are much more plentiful on weekends, but so is the occupancy. The food was average and at times disappointing. The staff is excellent. Overall - unsure that we will return, but if we do, we hope for improvements.
